I'm writing a new story. It's called 'The Colour of Strangers'. I have the first chapter up. Basically, what I need is ideas. This story is from different perspectives, and so I need multiple background stories. Also, to go with the stories, I need colours. Every character and every background gets a colour, to represent that person. They need to somehow work. So, basically, this is what I'm asking for:

PLEASE read my story!
So I'm writing a new story. It's called I'm a female spy. I kick *ss. But I have to pretend I'm a guy?! It's basically going to be a story about high school with a twist. Thing is, even though I really want to get into writing this story, I don't want to waste my time. So I put up a prologue. It's short. VERY short. But if enough people are interested [say, 20+...?] then I'll start writing up the first chapter. But that's only if I get enough feedback!!! Shadow of the Day
Well...
They didn't sweep the Sabres, but they did embaress them pretty well.
Yep!
The Sens are going to the Stanley Cup finals, after finally beating the Buffalo Sabres 4-1. It was soo nice!
Buffalo took a goal early in the second, but Ottawa came back. Heatley scored first, after just finishing off a powerplay. Alfie had a Sabres player completely distracted, and Heatley beat Miller.
1-1.
Later on, Alfie and Spezza had a 2 on 1. Alfie controlled the puck, and, noticing he wouldn't be able to score on Miller, drew him out, faked a shot, and passed a beauty to Spezza, who landed the puck promptly in the net that Miller had all but deserted.
2-1, Ottawa.
Late in the third, Buffalo got some life. They were bringing it, mostly because they NEEDED to win the game; they had to force a game six.
In my opinion, it was a shitty goal they got from Afinoginov. Have I ever mentioned that I truly hate him? Well, I do, and not only because he tied up the game.
Emery made the first save, really nice, too. But there was a rebound, and the rebound was sent over to Afinoginov, who now had an empty net, because Emery was still on the other side of the net. He tried, but he couldn't get his body over in time.
2-2.
Come overtime. Some really nice chances, one particularly by Jason Spezza. He shot the puck, and it did appear like it was going in. Spezza had his arms raised, I was screaming, but the moment was cut short after everyone realized Miller had made a spectacular save.
The save didn't give him the confidence he needed, though.
Center ice, Dany Heatley gives Alfie a small pass. Alfie with the puck now. He's going down the ice. How can he even make the shot? It's 1 on 3! Surely a Sabres player can stop the puck, and if not, what about Miller?
But Alfie goes... keeps going... Kind of moves his arm around the huddle of players, shoots the puck... and it goes past Miller's left side!
3-2, Ottawa!!
Yes, that's my little summary of the beautiful game that brought the Sens to the Stanley Cup finals. It's been a long time since the Sens won a cup [80 years...] but I know it. This is the Sens year!

They could sweep the Sabres!
How effing amazing would that be, to sweep the top team in the NHL?
It's insane.

Yep, I did.
I said that Oleg Saprykin's first goal with the Sens would be a very important goal.
And I was so right!
His first goal was the Game Winning Goal. It broke the tie between the Sens and the Sabres.
And it made way for a 5-2 win =]
And it was also I that called him Freaking Saprykin.
And now all journalists are calling him that!
Amazing right? It's like I hold the cards or something.
Which I totally bet I do. I've got crazy powers, it seems.
And if I continue to have my way,
The Sens will win The Cup this year.

NHL Standings
Does anybody else hate the NHL standings system?? 'Cause I totally do.
I'm a fan of Ottawa.
Yes, Ottawa.
And god, they kick so much ass!
I mean, technically, the Sens should be in like, 3rd place.
But noo, they are in fourth.
Okay, it doesn't make too much of a difference,
'Cause they're still in the playoffs no matter what now.
But it's the principle of the matter.
I just h.a.t.e that Atlanta is in third 'cause they're at the top of their division.
If the standings really went by points, Atlanta would be in 6th place.
SIXTH!!
I mean, the Sens would have to beat Buffalo in points to be in the spot they actually deserve.
But come on, as if.
Buffalo has 100-sum points, is Number ONE in the eastern conference, and the nhl I think??
I just hate it.
As if Buffalo would just start losing games until playoff time,
and as if the Sens will win every single game until playoff time.
And other teams would have to lose too.
So it's totally no win.

Secrets Of The Grave
So I've realized something.
No, I'm not the most talented of writers. I never know how to finish a story, and sometimes my plots suck. And sometimes I have great ideas but have no idea how to get them out. I get that. Totally.
Except, this is quizilla! Hello? Isn't this place supposed to be for writers, where they can get their stories read and get constructive critism doled out? I've had this account for... well, I don't know how many months. And no, I don't update a lot, but still. The countless chapters I have published have not been read. And I'm assuming that this is 'cause nobody bothers to read the 'recently added' section. Everyone goes straight for 'most popular' or 'highest rated'. Well, what about the rest of us? The ones who have pretty good stories, but get no one to read them?
Wake up, people! Now is your time to shine! Log onto your accounts, read some NEW stories! (Not just ones from authors you really like.) Comment on what you liked, what you didn't, etc, etc. And rate! For the love of (insert whatever), rate and comment. It makes a world of difference to writers. It seriously does!

Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day.
The crappiest day of the year.
Maybe I'm a bit bitter, but I'm justified.
Valentine's Day is just another commercial holiday that gives an excuse for stores to sell tons of chocolate, flowers, and other sappy stuff to whichever sappy person is dumb enough to follow through. It puts pressure on [most likely] men, who have to run around with their tail between their legs, looking for the perfect gift for their lover, just so that their lover knows that they're loved.
Honestly, if a person has to have a gift to know that they're loved, it's kind of pathetic.
Most importantly, this 'holiday' just serves to remind those of us who are single, and have no person out there that truly loves us.
And, may I point out, statistics show that the cause of a lot of breakups around Valentine's Day is that a boyfriend/husband/lover did *not* show their affection with an effing gift. It's pretty pathetic.
People need to stop making such a big deal about this day. Why does there have to be a set day for someone to show their affection? Why can't it happen any other day? Getting a gift on Valentine's Day is like someone saying, 'Sorry Hun, I got you a gift on this exact day because that's what everyone else is doing, and I'm too conformist to show my love on any other day'.
It's a bitchy day.

Angels and Demons
Are we all an angel or a demon?
All Manson or all Mother Theresa?
Can't we be part Manson and part Theresa and part vampire?!
We're not all black or white.
Some of us are brown or yellow.
But that's besides the point.
Don't we all just kind of have a bit of Satan and a bit of God in us?
I don't believe in either.
How can a person be all good or all evil?!
Don't they have a conscience? Don't they have a mind of their own?
We're all gray...I think.
I think we're all kind of a Marilyn Manson.
Except without the heavy white make up and eyeliner.
And freaky music videos that are actually kind of cool.
I mean,
he's all h-core, with the make-up and the darkness.
But he's trying to make a difference, using his music.
That's gotta be something.
But, as I was saying,
we're all gray.
Except, I guess it depends on you on which kind of gray you wanna be.
Like, if you want to be a light gray or a smokey gray, or a dark gray.
It's your own gray, why should someone else choose?!
