I feel bad for horses

People, horses are slowly beginning to be of no use. I mean, we don't rely on them for transportation anymore. The only people who really use and appreciate horses are farmers. The people use them to collect their cattle or sheep and to travel their farm. I mean, I'm talking about acres and acres of farm, not just a barn, a house, and a stall for goats and what have you. And perhaps they are being used more, like patrolling the streets or the malls or whatever, but I don't think it's enough recognization.

This fact that horses are becoming to be nothing but an attraction really brings my spirit down. People enjoy horses, you know, people enjoy to ride horse along the beach and feel the wind in their hair. I admit that I would like to ride a horse, and I will also admit that I am too much of a pansy to ride a horse. Also, horses are starting to show up at carnivals, or at petting zoos. They also make a big appearance in horse racing, but again, it's just mere entertainment. I just think that horses are starting to lose their -ness and it's people's fault. My fault, your fault, your mom's fault and what sucks most is that we can do nothing about it. Horses are losing their place in the world.

Pigs, cows, and chickens will never lose their place in the world because humans rely on them for food, but who eats horses? I can only frown upon the people who eat horses, I apologize. And goats, well, they never played a major part in the world, except for the mere enjoyment of watching them head-butt people when they are not looking. All the barn and farm animals have their permanent place, but what about horses? Sheep also have their permanent spot in the world. They provide cotton - important. Ducks and geese have their spot in the world, although humans just enjoy shooting and eating them, something I also frown upon.

But anyways, do you get my drift? What will happen to the horses?!!?

They are also not lessening in their population. Before, people used to auction off horses and those horses that did not sell, people would have to kill them. It was not exactly the happiest outcome and I do not feel comfortable with that solution, but it pretty much solved the problem. Now, people do not like that, so it does not happen and people take them in and have them roaming around, free, but what happens to them? There are all beautiful horses, but they are just there.

What I think would be an excellent use of horses is if the government banned automobiles for like a year and subsituted horses with them. With all the horses in the world, there is bound to be enough. I mean, it will result in two really nice outcomes:

1. Put the pretty horse out in the world.
2. It could also eliminate a lot of the polution in the world, thus perhaps working to end the ozone layer from getting ruined and end the possibility of the Earth going to Hell.

This is a total random epiphany, but I really started thinking about it. And I am not a huge horse fan or anything, I just feel bad for them.
