HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! And... I'm back to Quizilla!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!! I'm back to Quizilla! For the timebeing, anway. But I've gotten In October We Fall started back up, and now it is Institutionalized! PLUS I started a new My Chemical Romance--Yes, It's Gerard again. Sorry but I love writing about him! XD Well I've gotten in the habit of writing thought poems and posting them everywhere. So,THANKSGIVING 2006! Have FUN EVERYONE!
Wake up at night
Hide under the sheets
It's your sanctuary from the world
The world hates the hidden
Hunts them down
Like a turkey on Thanksgiving
They'll seek you out
And all you ever wanted
Was a little peace and quite
Rest from the world
The troubles of everyday life
The way they change your soul
Year after year
Wondering, what is there really
To be thankful for?
A person starts as themselves
Then they build on that
Is there a set destiny for you?
Or do you decide for yourself?
It's up to you to make decisions
But there are some parts
That can't be helped
Like your wealth
Your status
Are you thankful for that?
It's something you're born with
You can't help where you start
It's where you end that you determine.
So how do you set your own goals?
Get your life flowing?
It's the people around you
That influence you
To do the things you do
And act the way you do.
Be thankful then
That you have the people
That change who are.
Experiences, too
Can shape and mould a person
Into who they are.
So then, is there such a thing
As luck?
A lucky person
What does that mean?
If you have fame, fortune
Are you lucky?
Or is it what you make yourself
That is luck?
Can you run out of luck
Or is it balanced throughout your life?
Start out badly
And build on that
Make your luck flow the way you want.
Like a turkey on the table
Your luck will run out eventually
With the passage of time
But until then
You must make life what you want it to be
And be thankful for what you started with
Use it as
Your foundation for greatness
Nothing more.
