My friend died in a car crash.
My friend, William Hecker, died in a car crash Wednesday night.He was a junior, and had only had his liscence for a week. He crashed head on with a pickup truck. He would've lived if he would have been wearing a seatbelt.
Wil and I weren't best friends, but my locker is right next to the ROTC room, and he was on ROTC, so I saw him every morning. He always looked so nice in his uniform...
He would walk with me to lunch sometimes, and we would talk.
He would always joke around with me about how the step team used to suck. I would always tell him that they are good this year because I'm on it. He would always smile and wave to me in the hallway.
He was the sweetest guy I've ever met. He was nice to everyone. I'm a bitch, and I don't know why God decided to let me live instead of a good person like Wil.
Hopefully I'll be okay soon. I'll never forget Wil, and how he touched the lives of others just by being a nice guy. Maybe, you all could swing by my myspace or something and leave me a nice message. I need to be happy again. Don't be mad, but consider my stories on a short (and I mean short short) hiatus.
