About Me
I'm a single (soon to be working) 19yr old new mom, who loves her daughter very much and is " In tune" with nature. I love poetry - reading and writing it. I love to do book reviews or story reviews just for the fun of it. I enjoy bird watching and spending time with my family, I love to cook and bake I think the kitchen is the heart of the home :)

I'm A New Mom!
Well I did it!Its hard to believe that I brought another being into this world, but I did.
I'm amazed, extatic, full of cheer and I'm tired all at once.
After 22hrs of labor and 3 hrs of pushing things didn't look so well,
She got stuck and when she was born she was purple and non-responsive,
she had swallowed too much fluids and it took them several minutes to get her to start breathing but we were all praying and she pulled through.
Amelia Rose was born June 26th at 8:07pm
She weighed 8.3LBS, 19inches long.
Has brown hair and it looks like her eyes will be brown too however their a funny looking blue now.
(Like they want to change to brown.)
She seems to be very healthy and is very strong despite the scare at birth.
She has surprised a lot of people by showing them that she can hold her head up already and turn it to look around, She has also shocked me by rolling over when I was tryin to change her diaper (which their not suppose to be able to do until their third month - so I was told.)
So shes not letting anything bring her down and shes showing off how strong and healthy she is.
