The Life of a Sick Girl
Hey everyone its me again.Today I'm going to write about something more interesting. My last entry was basically an intro to who I am and what I like and what not. But today I found out some pretty bad news.
Why is it that the good people always get punished and the bad people are always rewarded? It doesn't make any sense at ALL to me and I've been questioning that all day. Is it kharma? Is it God testing me? I'm already broken enough. I just wish that this didn't have to happen to me. (This may sound really selfish but I'm in a pitty stage at a moment) I wish that all this bad stuff would just go away.
So you're probably wondering what the bad news is. Well, I have acid reflux disease and was diagnosed with it a about a month ago. A.R. (acid reflux) comes with stomach pains and constant vomitting. It is usually caused by stress and is basically a build-up of stomach acid that my body couldn't get rid of. When you lay down flat, the acid lays level and comes up through vomitting, so I have to sleep on a wedge to keep that from happening (even though sometimes it doesn't work) I don't get much sleep at night because I'm always uncomfortable. Anyways, about a week ago, I started throwing up blood. It started with a little and ended just pure blood. So I had a scope done of my upper stomach (A scope is where they put a camera down your throat, through your stomach to look at your stomach. This eliminates surgery) What they found was not good.
They found an ulcer. It's a sore that's caused by the extra acid I have. Worst of all, I'm on a diet of bland foods which means no fatty foods or sugary foods. I basically drink water, gatorade, and sugar-free juice and eat bread, rice, toast, jello, and other bland things.
They say that the ulcer is treatable with medications and will soon dissapear. But the reflux disease won't. They have me taking pills to treat the ulcer and to control the pain.
So, please, anyone who took the time to read this, pray for me. Comments, messages, and friends would be very much appreciated. I'm not trying to be selfish in ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. I just need some support. I don't get any from my family. Thanks everyone.
