Opinions (ADD) And here I stand, Opinions shot down, Mocked for what I think, What I do, or don’t want. I see you coming. I want to run and hide. I know you don’t understand The way I think, the things I believe. You think I’m wrong. I know I’m right. You say: “Have fun, live a little.” I say “No.” I know what I want. Don’t try to dissuade. I know that it’s wrong, and I don’t want it. I hate this confusion. These thoughts that intrude, I want the peace back. I want to be little. Not a care in the world, No conflicts on the playground. We all got along. Didn’t matter what we thought. Didn’t know what we thought. I want the days of laughter, The days of play, Not a care in the world. I don’t want to miss you. I don’t want it to hurt. I don’t want to cry like this. To die inside. Just want to shrivel up. To curl up and hide, I want it back. Give it back.
