how do i help her when she gets back?
hi guys,i need your help.
two weeks ago, one of my best friends tried to commit suicide. i was the only one besides her dad, stepmom, and grandmother, that knew she had tried it over the summer. i had been watching her like a hawk, but she still managed to try again.
the facility she's in right now has a no contact rule, and now i've found out that she won't be coming back to our high school, but will be living with her grandmother in a different town and finishing her senior year there.
i want to help her so bad and i have no idea how to.
last year one of my friends that all of my other friends were friends with committed suicide, he was a happy kid and none of us saw it coming. none of us, he was even on the phone with my friend kelly an hour before he did it.
i don't want that situation repeating itself and i'm glad my friend was stopped before she could succeed in her endeavor.
however, i don't know what to do when we are allowed to see her. i know i'm going to her house and pinning her to the ground in a hug. but after that i don't know what to do for her.
she means so much to me and i feel helpless to help her.
i need some advice, and this is the only place i feel i can get unbiased opinions on the situation.
