Oh.Dear.Lord.May.You.Have.Mercy.On.My.Soul

Oh my godric, this is really stupid, but I'd like some feed back. I've liked this guy for three years. But he just dated my bff, and broke up with her. They had a really crappy relaitionship. (they never even went on a first date. They scheduled a bunch, but they all got canceled for some reason or another.) And now, i don't know what to feel. My friend knew i liked him, she totally backstabbed me by dating him, but it wasn't her fault he made the move. And now I feel guilty about liking him, and really scared and anxious because he keeps hitting on me now, and they arent speaking to eachother and I'm honestly clueless as to what I can do. What if he asks me out? What do I tell my friends? They don't really have the same interests, but him and me have been bffs since grade two! We like the same music, movies, we both play guitar, and alot of other stuff! I've been friends with Nicole (the girlfriend) for two years now, and we're really tight, but I have no idea what to do, what to feel, and frankly i'm on the verge of tears. please help!
