Innocense

Hello again all. I know I should be typing my stories like you want me to, but this is something I've needed to get to typing eventually. Tonight, my friend invited me to a hookah lounge. If there are people reading this who smoke it then thats fine, im not here to say "SMOKING OF ANY KIND IS BAD! RWWAR!" No, all im saying is, im a baby. I stay away from all kinds of alchohol and smoking. I like in Las Vegas and I kno the effects of it. I know how idiotic it makes people and how it kills them. Which leads me to my next point, after the hookah lounge, my friend and I went to a party, where there was more hookah and beer. Naturally, being the social outcast i am, i just stayed in the corner with my other firned and texted my "boyfriend" th whole time. I didnt mind, i mean shes a butterfly and im a caterpillar. Why i am writting this is, as i looked around, i saw the type of person i could have become. The girls there were all probably 15-16 wearing skimpy outfits and looking SERIOUSLY underweight, I saw guys playing beer pong, i saw girls dancing and girnding their hips into one another. This whole thing just made me think "What happened to the world?" That wasn't the worst of it, I heard people talking about sex, and what it was they do such as different "posistions" and a bunch of disgusting things...AND IM OLDER THAN ALL OF THEM! What happened to saving before marriage?!? What happened to the legal age of drinking is 21?!?! What happened to a sence od desency?! Girls want to look like the icons on TV, well newsflash THOSE WOMEN ARE IN THEIR TWENTIES!!!! I'm sorry, I'm getting off track. My revelation was, "I'm 18, I have never smoked any kind of drug, nor snuffed anything, I haven't drank, and am sure as hell never having sex until there is a ring on my finger and im wearing a white gown saying I love you from the bottom of my heart. Yet...these teenagers who are younger than me choose to destroy themselves with vile matter and destroy their bodies, it gives me a sickly feeling, I guess I'm just too innocent." Naturally, I feel like an idiot. I mean I can't jsut get used to the fact that theres sin in the world, or have i lived that much of a sheltered life? I mean I have the media, I kno about all this stuff, but when im out and everyone is talking about these things like its nothing...I just feel like im in a bubble, I dont want to break out of it, but im afraid that everyone else has the needles that will do it. Im sorry if this offended you, but I had to say something, this was just in my head for a long time. Peace.
