Is it safe?

Is it safe to delete those messages that the hackers put on all of our message listings? Has anyone deleted them yet? I'm afraid to do it thinking that it will screw the message thing up again, and we all know what a nightmare that was! Any advice, my friends????? Love ya to pieces!!!
