Ok, no, I'm not posting a random journal talking about the books, as amazing as they are, or the movie, as exciting as the prospect is. Actually, I just joined a literary rp (roleplay) that is loosely based off the books. As in it has humans, vampires, and werewolves that use the same characteristics as described in the books, and is set in the same place as the books. It doesn't have canon characters, but there are super cool characters like my character, Tristin, who's slightly based off Jace [woot]. Mm...and...um...well, you should join too and be cool vampires or something. I'm having tons of fun. =]



And, as an added incentive to join, to the first person who joins and message me on the site telling me they joined, I'll advertise your story in Raised by Wolves, and for the second person I'll make you a bee-yoo-tiful PS (postscript) or character image (PP). Or vice versa, depending on who wants what. If you want an example of my work, you can look at some of these.

Hey guys! Just reminding y'all that today and tomorrow are the last days of the banner contest. :) Everything is due by probably 7 tomorrow night so that I can post the winner in the next chapter of the story. Everyone's banners will be featured in the story, though, so don't worry! I'll probably put about three per chapter from now on, until everyone's is shown. I'll also make a little slideshow or something of that sort. :D Cause I have that much time on my hands now the school's out.

Ok, by unanimous decison of everyone who answered my query, I've decided to have a banner contest!

Quick disclaimer: I actually am doing this just for fun, and to give people a chance to get their artwork displayed. No arrogance/whoring intended. lol. XD. Plus, I think it would be nice to put a banner for the story on my homepage, and this will help decide that. :)

Ok, here's how it works. You make a banner for Raised by Wolves. It can be a character or story banner. You send it to me, saying you want it entered in the contest. An viola, it's entered! Deadline will probably be sometime in May. I'll announce the official deadline sometime soon.

A side note, please put your username on quizilla as the filename on your image. It makes it much quicker for me in sorting them and remembering which one belongs to whom.
 
Prizes:
1st - I'll advertise your story and/or whatever else you want advertised in several chapters of Raised by Wolves. The banner will also be placed on my homepage, with full credit given.

I have a question for y'all. What's the popular opinion on banner contests? I thought it might be fun to do one, and have the prize being they can give me a name for a character in my story and they get the banner put up on my homepage. But my friend says that banner contests are arrogant and stupid cause they're just me trying to get new banners for my story. Can I get opinions? Friendly ones, please, no bashing of me or anyone else. Just what you think.

Hey guys! As most of you probably figured out by now, the messaging is working again. So, go ahead and message me. :) I got, like, no feedback on Ch. 3, which made me sad since I introduced the whole part where Laela has special powers, sorta like Elliot from StaM. Anywho.

Ok, I'm doing something sorta cool for Slave to a Monster. Not gonna tell you all of it, but I need to know if you have particular songs that make you think of the story, or you think fit with certain chapters. Anything will help. I'm doing something, and I need lots of good songs. I already had a really good one recommended to me: Monster by Meg & Dia.

Ok, I'm so sorry it's taking me so long to post a new chapter. My AC adapter broke on Friday morning, so I've been without a computer for a couple days. I'm frantically typing away at the story currently, so it'll be up as soon as possible. Thanks for the patience, guys!

Ok, since I love writing, I also like to rp (text version). That's role-play in case you didn't know. Anywho, my friend Waterslurper has an rp site that I thought I'd mention in case anyone wants to join. You can find it here. It's about some highschool students who are stranded on a deserted island.

I was just wondering...I love reading stories on here as well as writing them, and I've been looking for some new stuff to read. Sometimes the stuff that's not on the most popular or highest rated list is just as good. ;) So if you guys know any good stories, or write any good stories, can y'all let me know?

I like mostly vampire stories, as I like to call it, hardcore vampire stories (lol, blackenedlily), not the wishy-washy, weak, romantic vampire who loves this girl he meets immediately upon meeting her. lol. Like, more like the one I wrote? I'm not sure how to explain it.

I like other stories too, not so much band member or Harry Potter ones, but I'm willing to give anything a try. I'm an avid reader. ;)

Have an amazing Thanksgiving everyone! I myself am all alone at home because my family went to stay with my brother for Thanksgiving and I have to stay home cause I have to work on Saturday. Dumb job. But at least I get to give thanks for peace and quiet on Thanksgiving! Lol. Well, actually I'm going to my friend's house to celebrate in a little bit. So it's all good. I personally am giving thanks for Jesus Christ this Thanksgiving, and my irritating family (I love them), yummy pecan pie, it almost being Christmas time, semi-cold weather (as cold as it can get around here, I suppose), and jello salad!
