Last night was our homecoming!! I do not know about you, but I have school pride; I love my high school! :) Like always, we had a Pep Assembly before school ended. So you know how the band is supposed to play all these pep songs followed by the school song, well instead we played some of our show music! It was so much fun because it was so unexpected! (We are total band geeks!) lol The students were all like "What are they palying?!" lol (Some knew it was our show music and others did not) Later, when our principal was going through the list of fall sports, he left out the marching band!! When that happened, all of us bandies were all like, "We are not going to play for you anymore!" So after the wheel barrow race, the principal annnounced and congratulated the band. He also mentioned that our 1st band competition is Saturday October 4th at Hudsonville. Of course we stood up cheering for our band cuz we rock!! (No, really we do!) Now at the football game, we played at Pre-Game. OMG, we rocked the stands!!!! I have video of us whic I am watching now, and noting what needs to be improved before the competition. The football team had another mercy game; we won 41-0 against Benton Harbor. So far our team is undefeated. During the game, I met up with my BFF Alex. She was able to get her friendCameron to come to the game (He is not into school functions).Itwas soo funny what Brittany and I did to Alex at teh game. Alex was wearing high heels and decided to take them off because they were bugging her. So she did and then went to sit with CAmeron at the end of our row. So, Brittanyand I hid her shoes! When she came back she was all like "Where did you put my shoes?!" We told her that we had no idea; we told her that we thought she had them with her! lol (I am letting you know that Alex is dense and takes a while to figure things out) We told her that maybe Cameron took them...she believed us and wentto chase Cameron!! It was soo funny! While that was going on, we took the shoes from their hiding spot, which was under my sweat shirt, and put them back where Alex initially had them. When Alex came back, she was all like "Where did you hide them? I knew you had them!" Of course we were still playing with her mindand said that the shoes were there the whole time! lol Her reactions to our statements were so funny! She went off with Cameron, again,and this time I took a bite out of her pizza (She had two slices of pizzaand a pepsi). Shesaw me and yelledat me. lol Then later I gota Strawburst from my friend Spoonand so did Alex. Cameron tried to get the Strawburst away from her, but failed. My favorite part was when Cameronand I told her that Criss Angel died. (Alex loves Criss Angel) Of courseAlex denied it; she called Cameron on his celland when he picked up yelled, "HE IS NOT DEAD!!!" That hurt Camerons ear and he said that he is deaf now. lolz So yeah, moving on.I am really excited for next weeks game; we play our arch rivals, St. Joe! That is always the best game of the season. Lets' beat the Bears!! GO LANCERS!!! So yeah. After the game, I skipped the dance and went with my BFF to our friend Sara's house to hang out, eat, and watch a movie. On the way to her house, Britt. had a very random moment driving. We were almost to Sara's house when this dog came running on the side of the road. Britt. slowed down, opened the window, and yelled, "What a cute doggy!" After she was all like, "That wasn't random at all!" lol
