Applications, Homecoming, Ouran, and all the Usual Shtuff
*sigh*
So I have started applying for scholarships and to colleges. And when I say started, I mean I have one done and a bunch on my to-do list. For those of you who have not had to do this yet: it sucks. Of course, once you've done one, you've pretty much got everything you need for all of them, but still. There's so much to do that I'm stuck. I'm overwhelmed. But I guess I just need to go one step at a time.
Everybody is pairing up for homecoming. Seriously, there are like 4 new couples. It was like, bang bang bang! and all the sudden everybody's got a girlfriend/boyfriend. I'm excited for my best friend though. She got asked to homecoming this year. You're like "what's the big deal?" but she and I have never been asked to ANY dances before. We always end up going together (cheaper tickets for couples!)because we don't get asked. So this is a big deal for her. And it was totally unexpected too. He's a grade lower than us and a really shy, quiet guy, so nobody was expecting it. I'm so excited for her! She was smiling all day! =D
Oh! Here's some news! I shut myfingers in my front door. I don't even know how it happened.It hurt so bad that I got dizzy and sick to my stomach and couldn't breathe. It's a heavy door. Good thing I didn't slam it.My middle finger has a pretty good sized cut on it and my pointer finger has this blood blister. MAN did that hurt! And then, we were playing soccer in 7th & 8th PE (for those who don't know, I take PE with the 7th and 8th graders), and one of the kids kicked the ball into my hand. It tooka bunch ofskin right off my finger. That stung pretty bad, but it was more bloody than anything. I've had in band-aided because I don't want it to get infected, but I hate bandaids! They're a pain in the butt to put on, then water gets underneath them and you have to take them off anyway, and you can't bend your finger, and they leave sticky stuff behind when you take them off, and it hurts to take them off, and an infinite number of other things I hate about them. Especially when you put one on your arm or something and it rips a bunch of hair off when you take it off. HATE that!
Anybody else really excited for Ouran? Out on DVD the 28th! Yayus! I have mine preordered but I can't help but be excited. It's one of the best animes out there. Can't really compare it to any of my other favorites (Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin)because it's so totally different. It's the best! The only thing I'm nervous about is Vic as Tamaki. Hopefully he does a good job. And if not, that's why DVDs have language tracks. I can just put it on the original Japanese audio and watch with subtitles. No problemo.
Sometimes I wonder why I still write in this thing. I'm sure my readers don't spend a whole lot of time on my profile. It's the people who aren't familiar with my stuff that end up there, but all well. I guess it just feels right to let you guys know what's going on, even if you aren't reading it.
Meh. Talk to you later. I'm going to bed early because I'm tired ^^
