school...here we go again
hello, hello, hello. so, my third year of college has begun...how the time flies. but anyway, i put up the lastest chapter of my city boy story last week or so. Number 9! read, rate, and comment please! i will hopefully get another one up soon. so keep an eye out.
so this semester, i am taking a photography class for my art major requirement. (rant in progress) and its a 2 hour class, three days a week, at EIGHT in the morning!!! and to top it all off, the art department had to find a photo teacher to teach it until they can find somebody with credentials. i don't think any of us in that class like this new 'prof,' and i'm quoting it because i don't think she's actually worthy of the title. i swear, the art department had to be pretty desperate to hire her. a lot of the students want to go to california and drag the professor from last year back. another thing about these classes is that they cost you a ton of extra money for supplies and all that jazz. chemicals, film, photo paper, etc. it makes me wonder why i'm an art major at times...but i enjoy it enough to stick with it, and i like to take pictures. (rant complete)
this summer was fun, although it was practically a drought around here. it hardly rained from june to even now, actually. but anyway, in august, my sister and two cousins and i went to the state fair to see Rascal Flatts in concert!!! it was awesome! and my first live concert, really! and we saw Pirates 3 twice! and Harry Potter twice! and Ratatouille and Evan Almighty!!! it was a big summer for movies! i want to see them all again!! Pirates 3 comes out december 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i want it!!!! i'll also turn 21 in 2 months...a scary, scary, thought.
so, i hope you all enjoyed reading my little rant and recount of my summer. thank you and have a good night.
