Heaven's gates and hell's flames
So yeah, last week I went to see this play. It was held in a church (Pentecostal church), so it was religious play, called Heaven's gates and hell's flames. Now, I'm not religious and I don't believe in god, I'm not even pentecostal, but my friend was there as an angel, so I had to see it.And in the end, I really liked it. It kind of repeated the same thing over and over again, people die, some of them go to heaven because they have let God in their hearts, and some burned in the hell's flames. They didn't show the burning though. Such a shame.
Anyway ^^ It was a good play. And this Estonian guy spoke in the end and a woman sang, and that really was touching. I can't remember what it was about right now, but my friend was crying =D Yeah. Seriously.
But the point of the play... Well, it basically said that if you don't live a perfect life, if you don't dedicate your life to god and if you drink or use drugs, you won't get to heaven. This one guy was praying just before he died with his friend, and still he didn't get to go to heaven. And this other guy had done bad things in his life, and he too started to believe in God before his death, yet still, he didn't get to heaven.
Hmm, and here I always thought that God was supposed to be forgiving and kind. Oh well.
Yeah, just wanted to talk about that play ^^ Nothing else. Bai
