True Infatuation???
First of all, sorry I haven't been updating. Writing will always be something I do, but right now I'm still trying different things (Right now it's painting and writing lyrics btw) =D And another thing is, I look at the stuff I wrote before and go like "OMG I can't write like this anymore". I dunno...maybe it's just a phase or something, but suddenly I feel like I can't write anything, especially not 8 page long microsoft word documents. Hopefully it's just a stage when my writing decides to go a different direction and I'm just confused in the process or something. Hehe.Anyways, I was just wondering: what is true love? Because how can one be so sure of the fact that you're in love and then years later end up completely hating the object of your earlier affections? How does this happen?
And also, how do you know if you've met your soulmate? Is there even such a thing? If you meet your soulmate, and then decide that he's not the one, so you dump him. Does that mean you'll never have another one? If you fell in love both times because your first husband died from a car crash and so you marry another, which one is your destined-to-be?
If I look at this from the scientific POV, then soul mates doesn't exist. We, as homo sapiens, have specific urges from the increase in hormone production to establish a new family unit. So it means that love doesn't exist at all.
Another thing, if your soul mate exists, how can you be sure you'll meet him? There are a gazillion people in the world. So if you meet him on the streets, will you trust your spiritual side to tingle or something? Some people say that you have to trust the divine that you two will meet up eventually. But still...there are so many people that you'll meet in your lives, does everyone affect you in some way? Because I've met some pointless people who left no impact on my life whatsoever. If there really is some divine force guiding our actions, why do I feel like my decisions are completely made by me, and lots of them made badly?
And let's say I kinda like this guy. He's drop-dead-gorgeous, sort of like a real life Nic Stanton. Family is in the real estate business and eats at restaurants like Thomas Keller's Per Se or le Bernardin in NYC on daily basis. Lives part time in a co-op apartment on Park Avenue, Upper East Side. Attends Dalton School. Drives a Ferrari and rides in a fancy limo from time to time.
But is it actually worth being with him? I mean, in real life, being with rich kids have consequences. I don't wanna be the girl who plays with fire and ends up getting burnt. Ahhh...my life is officially a teen drama minus the script and happy ending.
