Why Did School Have to Start?
Man, I'm just not in the mood for school right now, and this year is going to be such a busy year for me -- and its only my junior year of high school. I have to start thinking about college, take my ACTs, get a job -- not to mention, there's the social aspect of high school that I kind of suck at. I'm not too fond of most of the people at my school because they're all the same: stuck up and fake.Anyway, the whole prom thing kind of creeps me out -- not so much "prom" itself, but how serious people take it, girls especially. All you hear in the halls is: "Oh my god, I found the cutest dress for prom!" or "Oh my god, nobody has asked me yet!" -- What the hell! I mean, prom is at the end of the year, there's no need to start freaking out about it on the first day of school.
Personally, I don't really care. If I get asked, great. If I don't, oh well. Honestly, I highly doubt I'll get asked to the prom, so I won't be expecting anything when that time comes. Call it "negative thinking", but its the truth.
