For those who want to know who R.A.B is

alright then, lets look it over... "To the Dark Lord" well, of course, it had to be one of the Death eaters, since they are the only ones who call him that. " I know i will be dead before you read this" Ok, it had to be one of the earlier death eaters. like the Malfoys or Karkaroff, but both are alive "but i want you to know it was i who discovered your secret. I have stolen the real horocrux and intend to destroy it as soon as i can." this part didnt make any sense to me, but something was throbbing in the back of my head that appeared in the fifth book, but i couldnt remember what it was. So i continued... " i face death in hopes that when you finally meet your match, you will be mortal once more." that last line meant this specific Death Eater was supposed to do something, but failed and died. ( as said in the first peice) so i looked over the name again. "R, A , B." now, unless Rowling is making this a suprise, B has to be Black, but what does R, A mean? I looked it over, and i remembered the family tree of the blacks, i looked it up, and found the only name with an R Regulus Black. then, the thought finaly hit me. i looked in the fifth book again and found the info i needed. there is a peice where Sirius says,"... He got in so far, then panicked about what he was being asked to do and tried to back out." I slapped my head at this moment, now the peices fit. the part where they talk about taking the horocrux, Even though Regulus panicked, Voldemort would only tourture him, not kill him, so i thought that Regulus REALLY screwed up. So in conclusion, RAB is Regulus A. Black
