Mexico

Ok so mainly for the first week I was there, I went shopping a lot, and there isn't much to buy there. They REALLY like ceramic stuff, and they have the oddest things.. Like Skeletons in dresses and hats and funky little figurines.. Very odd haha! The driving is wonko! You can't cross the street without being run over. And I was almost hit by a bus 4 times!! Not counting the times I was almost hit by a car. There's garbage everywhere, and police stand on every corner with machine guns. It's kind of freaky. But besides all of that, it's really nice.
The guys whistle and honk their horns at you as you walk down the street, and yell "Hola Guapa!!" Or something to that effect. They all are VERY friendly.
When you greet, you kiss on the cheek and sort of hug and say "Hola" same as goodbye, but you say "Adios" or "Mucho gusto" or "Nos vemos" or something else lol!
Everyone thought I was a LOT older then I actually am!! But that was ok, because a lot of the cuter guys liked me haha! The younger ones were too immature for me. Hmmmmm what else?? Well the first week wasn't too exciting. Not until the end that is, I tried a LOT of new things, and met a LOT of new people. I tried this taco that had cow brains in it!! It was ok. I went to the zoo with Memos, Byonca and Ale, three of the many people I befriended. There was a zipline there, and I went off!!! I'm afraid of heights, and so when the guy was like "Ok, go!" I was like "Can't you push me?" But I went off anyway lol!! It was SUPER fun!!
Then we went to Alvarado. THIS is the BEST part of the trip...
I went to the Zocalo with Fabiola (my mom's friend. We were staying with her and her two kids and her husband) and she introduced me to Alisia, who doesn't speak much English. She introduced me to LOADS of her friends and I made a lot of friends. We did stuff almost every night, Layla had a pool party, and Eolo, Alisia, Alan and I had a chicken fight in the pool lol! Eolo and I were undefeated!! It was funny because he would sing "We are the champions!!" Then he wouldn't know the rest, so he'd start singing the song in Spanish lol! Hmm then we went to Fiesta De Espuma!! IT IS THE AWESOMEST CLUB EVER!!! and we would go to the beach at night, and drive around in the back of the truck and... Man, soooo many good times. Sorry, I'm a little lazy at the moment for details. If you REALLY wanted details on something, just ask lol!!
Then we left Alvarado and I cried SOOOO hard!! I really miss them! But Eolo's moving near me, so he's going to come visit me!!! My friends sent me a Lot more pics of them, so I at least have something to remember them, and we stay in touch by E-mail and msn.
