I just want to see what you guys think, and since a lot of people are into this kind of thing now, I thought it would be appropriate lol.

So... I want you guys to choose any one of my stories. Don't Scream, Blood Ties, Carpe Noctem, Gone to the Vampires or The Fork in My Road Has Blood on It, and cast them!!

Pick three to five characters from one of those stories, then choosewho you would want to play them in a movie. They can be singers, actors, models, whatever you want and whoever you think is most fitting.Then, with the persons of your choice, write a little blurb about why you think this person would be perfect for the role.

You can either post it in a comment here or send me a message, whatever you want. I will be taking submissions through September 25th, 11:59 PM MY TIME!!! (Which is Pacific, on the United States West Coast).

I will choose the winner from whatever submission I like best, so make sure your descriptions and reasoningsare good! B/c that's what I'ma go by lol.

The winner gets not only a character createdafter them in the story of their choice, but their very own short story (either a one shot or longer than that) that they get to choose what it's about. Upon further review of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series.... I have a question to pose to you all.

Do you think the male characters in my stories are abusive (excluding GttV)?

Like, (Spoiler Alert) is the Abigail/Avery romance way too far-fetched b/c of everything he did to her, and same w/ the Ange/Blaine one in Blood Ties?

I mean, b/c I sure as hell know that I wouldn't forgive anyone if they did those things to me (especially in Don't Scream)... And I feel pretty awful now about writing what I plan to in the Fork story.

I dunno. Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but my stories seem so... Unlikely? And yeah, I know b/c they're about vampires, but I meant the matchmaking.

*sigh* Also, I feel kind of angry at my female characters lol, b/c I seem to have written them... Catty? Immature? Childish? >_< And I know I've said that Ange is that way because she's a teenage girl and it's characterization, but I was thinking last night: "What if no one likes her?"

xD I think I'm being paranoid, but those are my thoughts. Go ahead and discuss anything freely! I accept all comments, negative, positive, or ones that clamor for change lol.

Thanks to btfan4123, who messaged me about an abandoned psychiatric hospital in New Jersey while commenting on my Don't Scream story, my love for abandoned and old psych wards was rekindled tonight and I went on the never-ending search for information again.

I'm always obsessed with this subject and have even written a couple essays on it at length, but I found an amazing site with cool photographs to share with you all.

But before I go on, I think it pays to reiterate why I wrote Don't Scream. In addition to having a catchy plot line, I'm quite the advocate for proper and fair mental health treatment, both in the past and nowadays. My mother attests that now, our country's state of mental health is 100 times worse off than it was in the 1800's and 1900's, but I disagree. Even though our mental health system is deplorable, a mockery and incredibly sad, it's nothing like it was back then. Yeah, patient abuse, low staff counts and unsanitary conditions plague it up and down, but at least patients aren't forgotten for days on end and left to die in the hallways while being starved and beaten.

So I wrote that story to make people aware of a very touchy social issue that goes on every day away from the public eye. Yes, the people who were doing the abusing were vampires, but they were still nurses abusing patients, and it does truly happen (except w/out the vampire part). =)Even doctors can be held accountable.

But this is what happened: I wrote a bunch of Carpe Noctem (the Blood Ties sequel), but I lost page 2... (I know, I am such a forgetful person lol), so I had to re-write it! Now this happened a while ago, so you've already read the re-written chapter...

And as fortune would have it, the other day I found the original copy all crumpled up at the bottom of my backpack, and I like the original version better!!!!

It made me so sad!!! So.... What I wanna do is post the original chapter 2 (and probably replace it with the current one lol), but not yet. I shall post the first chapter 2 as a bonus chapter (in the "No Category" category), but probably tomorrow.

So that's where I'm at. Also, I figured out Avery's theme song lol. (Or now Jamieson, as I have to start calling him now!) xD It's Vermillion Pt. 2 by Slipknot... Yes, yes, I know. Interesting band, but that song seriously sounds nothing like their other works. It's slow, beautiful, and the most romantic, heartbreaking love song I've ever heard.

And I'm dead serious too. Listen to it, look up the lyrics... And it shall give you a giant clue as to Avery's feelings for Abigail lol.

Ok so I am posting again!!!!! I just updated The Fork story... So in the future, if you wanna know if I've updated, on your Quizilla "MyStuff" drop down menu, just go to watch list and check... I FINALLY GET TO GO ON A REAL VACATION!!!! xD

This 4th of July I am going back to New York for an all class reunion! (Everyone who graduated from my high school gets to go), and even though I hated it, I miss my family.

I lived in NY for my Junior and Senior High School years, and lemme tell you, I hated it. There were only 2,000 people in the whole entire town, and I was MISERABLE! But like I said, I miss all the family that lives there and I haven't been back since 2005... So I need to go.

The only thing I am not looking forward to is the plane ride, because I HATE FLYING!!! >.< I'm always scared the thing is gonna fall outta the sky, even though it rarely (if ever) happens. And plus, I live on the west coast so it takes me all day to get to the east coast, and I have 2+ layovers, almost every time at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport. -.- You'd think with how many effing times I've been there I would have memorized the fricking layout by now, but no. IT'S MASSIVE! And the reunion is on July 4th, so I am gonna try and buy my tickets for July 2nd until July 9th, so only a week. But I has 2 jobs to think about lol.

As much as I deplore New York and the plane ride there, I am THRILLED because I get to see my old home and my family, whom I love very much. So yeah. And btw, it is in Clinton, for if any of my readers live around that area lol.

And it was today. I turned the big 21!!!! xD Although technically, I'm not supposed to drink because of my migraine medication, but that's ok. I don't like to drink anyways.

And newsflash, I just saw the Twilight teaser trailer... It rocked! *ahem*

But anyways, my birthday wasn't all that great or exciting. Just another day, really. I woke up, got ready, went to this store called Sock Dreams and bought 2 pairs of gloves-- Black fishnet ones and black lace ones, then went to my work (I'm on vacation) where my coworker and boss gave me a $50 gift card, and we discussed the tattoo I'm getting next month... And this is where it goes downhill. -.-

My little sister and I are going to a Mindless Self Indulgence and The Birthday Massacre concert May 29th, but my little sister's friend wants to go as well... So her birthday (the friend's) is tomorrow, and my little sister wanted to buy her a ticket for her birthday.... But she didn't have the money. So guess who got to buy it? Yeah. And I am without a car right now (long story) so I have to bus it everywhere. So I took a long a$$ train and bus ride to get to the Safeway where they sold the tickets.... BUT THEIR D@MN COMPUTER WAS OUT! They had no power! So I had to catch another bus and go ALL THE WAY TO ANOTHER TOWN JUST TO BUY THIS EFFING TICKET! And then on the way back... I had to wait for an HOUR until my bus came... All while standing in high-heeled boots. -.- It was he1l.

But yesterday, my friend took me out for sushi and got me a hello kitty doll, and her parents are going to take me and her out to dinner sometime this week for my birthday. I also bought myself a pair of curb stomping-pleather-combat-buckled-eyelet boots that my friend wanted as well, but I grabbed them first... xD And my dad is going to buy me a zen stone mp3 player in 2 weeks, but today he got me a Slipknot and a Korn t-shirt (and I have a Blutengel one coming in the mail), my little sister gave me $20, and my older sister is gonna take me out bar hopping next Sunday (more for the delicious happy hour bar food than the booze), so that's gonna be nice.

Oh, and to top this whole effing day off, I got propositioned as I was walking to the bus stop from Safeway!!! >=O Some guy in a beat up truck rolled up on the curb next to me, and I could see him through his car window... Which was nasty, but I just kept my head down and walked faster. -.- It was so frigging gross. And the only ones who said happy birthday to me today (besides online friends) were my dad, his girlfriend, my little sister, my little brother, and my older sister. Mom conveniently forgot to say it while she was b!tch!ng at me the moment I walked in the door. Oh well. It's only the day you were born! >.< But I do love my $50 gift card and Slipknot/Korn shirts... And my goth gloves lol. I got some interesting looks while I was wearing them on the bus/MAX. xD

Ok, so some of you may be wondering why in the world I would choose to write about a psychiatric hospital.

For years and years, ever since I was in early high school, I have been fascinated by the mental health field, and more directly, it's past.

A long time ago, (and even now!) psychiatric hospitals were places of untold horror, almost no better than concentration camps. That's why there are less of them now than there were in the 1800's-1900's

But to my main point, abuse still happens, but no one ever talks about it! Girls and other patients in these wards get molested, beaten, and other horrid things done to them to this very day, and I am trying to bring awareness about by any means that I can.

My mom sent me this link from OPB, and it is very informative and helpful. It's sad, and will make you disgusted. Click on all the links to the left, like "Bedlam, 1946"... That's a GOOD page. It's terrible.

In Don't Scream, I noticed something in chapter 7 that needed to be changed.

I wrote that there are 4 orderlies, 4 nurses, and 4 doctors on staff at any time. Well, I had to change that to 3 doctors and 8 nurses.

Orderlies and nurses are essentially the same thing (or so similar that I shall use them interchangeably), and I combined them. Also, 4 doctors seemed a little excessive, seeing as that is very expensive to have on board at once. So I reduced it to 3.

And I noticed that in chapter 4 of my Blood Ties story, I wrote that Stephan had ink black hair.

My mistake. I'm sorry I didn't catch it before, but if it's not clear, he was supposed to have straw-colored, yellowy-blonde hair. So yeah.

And just for further reference, Blaine has black hair w/ red streaks in the bangs, and Cameron has chestnut colored hair.
