Snow in Maryland! YAY FOR SNOW!!! *does happy dance.* Started up yesterday. Everything looked so beautiful this morning when I woke up at the absurd hour of 7:30 am ON MY OWN!! No alarm nor screaming mother at all! I'm amazed ... and deeply disturbed ... this is a very rare thing for me. Anyway ... snow. :) Mom said "don't you sit outside smoking for hours ... it is freezing out there! It'll be in the teens!" I don't know what she's talking about. It is really nice out there, especially in the sun. I like winter ... exposure to the sun is not quite so painful for me as it is during the summer. I love snow ... winter without snow just feels like eternal novermber: grey skies, freezing rain ... overall, yuckiness. I am procrastinating right now, like always. I am SUPPOSED to be preparing for the 6 minute persuasive speech I have to give in class tomorrow for SP108. Since it's a required course ... WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SO PAINFUL AND LAME?!!! ANSWER ME THAT, MONTGOMERY COLLEGE! A-N-S-W-E-R ME THAT! I hate that course. I really do. Dad is on a business trip for three days. Mom went to see the eye doctor because her retina might be ... detached .... At first she wanted me to drive her, and I agreed ... but then she says "Oh NO! You can't. You have to stay here and work on your speech! I'll be fine. I'll just sit and wait ... and wear sunglasses and such." Grr. I'm worried, even though she told me not to worry. Blech. But the snow cheers me up! *does another happy dance* And so does tea with milk and honey and a slice of chocolate cake .... ummm .... yummy breakfast/lunch thingy ...
