So I'm sitting here bored...once again inspired by my hero's words:
"I am not a star,
don't look up to me in hopes of finding something more.
That which is out of reach does not promise anyone a
goddamn thing.
Hope arises in possibility,
but possiblity is fragmented and selfish,
so don't think for a second that I am safe ground to walk
on.
I will sink beneath the feet of a thousand travelling
companions,
and make ruin of any city's foundations,
because concrete and steel can never tell a soul how it
feels.
Our street corners keep secrets, and our road signs only
suggest,
never deciding for us,
never knowing if the destination to which they lead,
is where we truely belong.
Life's greatest tragedy is not that it will some day end,
but that most of us just live to follow directions,
and many times we end up totally lost."
-Alex Gaskarth
And I'm wondering...will I end up losing myself to follow direction?
I really hope not,
but man am I feeling deep.

Finding yourself is like driving in Boston-- There are, maybe... three road signs in the whole city, and the turn pike is closed at night. You may be driving around for three hours straight and thinking "Man... I'm lost... maybe I should just ask someone where I'm going." But the one thing we never take into account is that they don't know where they're going, nor where you want to go, nor which of the three road signs you want to take are. This may not make a lot of sense. Think about it. You're smart, you'll get it, I promise. You will never lose yourself when you are looking for yourself. Directions are rules, I suppose. But when you find out HOW you want to find yourself, you have to make your own direction. Jeez... It truly is a wonder that I've only been to Boston once. I hope I've created something that produces results to you. =] --Jos.
