The Official Mailing List Post

Hey! I'd like to inform you about my mailing list. It will be used for emailing my readers (who have signed up for it) for the following reasons:

1) A new update! You'll know right when it happens!
2) A new journal! This is good in case I say something important in it that you might want to know, although I should state in the email whether it should be read or doesn't matter. =]
3) Sneak-Peeks! I will probably stop posting sneak-peeks in my journal. Instead, I'll email them out from time to time. You can feel free to let me know if it was amazing, suckish, interesting, or if it seemed really confusing. I may post sneak-peeks on stories that will never reach Quizilla but it will depend if I receive bad feedback or not. =P
4) Requests! From time to time I may ask which requests you guys have; whether it's to update a current story or bring and old one back. After I get requests from you I'll post it in a journal for others to see which they'd want. I probably won't ask for suggestions in a journal unless I don't receive many requests.
5) FAQs! Yes, Frequently Asked Questions. Sometimes I receive questions about my stories (who am I kidding, I receiving them in packs, it seems). So I might send out a question from time to time that people seem to ask. It will clear things up for you. Also, it may include a link to a journal that has the FAQ as well, but you won't need to click on it because you'll have it right there in the email! By the way, I'll try not to send an email out for this unless I have a story put out at the same time so it's not worthless email. =P

You may be wondering why I have this mailing list. Well there's no My Quizilla on the new site. But here are the reasons:

1) Some people have dozens of people on their friends list. If they log onto Quizilla daily, they will rarely be able to get through all their friends. This makes it a bit easier because you'll just receive an email from me when someone new happens. So if you constantly check your email, this is completely to your benefit! You can check your email hourly, daily, weekly, or even monthly! But no matter what you will never need to check my profile again to see what's happening because you'll get it all in the emails!
2) You'll receive the email immediately after something is posted so if you're on a messenger (MSN, Yahoo, AIM) and your email is under that name, you'll see a message saying you've got mail! A minute later you read the email and can be the first person to read a story, view a journal, etc.
3) Even if you hate the new site and are thinking about leaving, you don't have to stop reading my stories or give up Quizilla all together. You'll receive a link that will go straight (I hope!) to the update and you won't ever have to go around the rest of the site.
4) Okay... so maybe you actually are going to leave Quizilla. Moving to FictionPress? I have an account there! No, not under MyUndesiredLifeStory because someone stole that (grr...). I'm IridescentSight there. When I update my stories you will not only receive a link to the one on Quizilla but to the one on FictionPress as well!

If you sign up, I will add you as soon as possible. You will receive an activation email which you must complete before you can receive any other emails.

As of May 13th, I have a few people signed up. But only one person has activated their email. If you've signed up for it on my last post, please activate it or else you can't receive any other emails. I was supposed to send something out yesterday in the Mailing List but I didn't because of the one person who was on it. However, I probably will not be sending out a sneak-peek at the moment. Instead, the first email I send out will be letting you know that I've updated! That's right! I'm deleting all my stories right after I post this. Then, in a few hours, I will be updating for the first actual time in months! MyUndesiredLifeStory is back!

As a note to everyone, this probably won't be read a lot unless someone actually bothers coming to my journal or sees it on my upcoming stories. So if you know someone that follows my stories, let them know about this post. I'd appreciate it very very much if you would possibly include it in a journal of yours (if you write one, maybe add a link to this page as a PS note? =D). I'd love you all night long! Haha! =P

Get ready for the Era of MyUndesiredLifeStory (for the sixth-ish time since I deleted my stories like five times before...). This is the final era, that I promise. Please place all lose clothing and items by the wall. Keep your legs, arms, and hands inside the ride at all times. Hang on tight... because this is going to be one helluva ride. =]
