So, I used to believe I loved Harry Potter. Not the characters but the books. But I've realized after putting up two HP fan fictions this is not the case. Actually, this is far from the truth. I really don't like the books. Harry Potter as a character is angsty and if he wasn't 'the boy who lived' everyone would hate him. He's a jerk. Well, I think he is because he is incapable of taking care of himself.

So:
I don't like the Harry Potter series.
I don't like Harry Potter.

Why do I write fan fiction?
Simple:
I love the universe.
Or rather the thought of the Harry Potter universe.
And I love the characters.

I don't love all the characters. Like Harry. Or Ron. Or Hermione. Or Ginny. I like the Twins which they don't exist together anymore... I love Severus Snape. I love Draco Malfoy. I love Blaise Zabini. I love the Slytherin House.

What can I say:
I'm a Slytherin fan.

I wouldn't personally want to be in the Slytherin House. I see myself fitting more into the Hufflepuff/Gryffindor crowd. But the Slytherin style has got me hooked. Ambition should not be confused with greed. Cunning should not be confused with evil or malice. True, they sometimes go hand in hand but I believe the Slytherins were very poorly represented. If there was a true Slytherin in any of the Harry Potter books, that Slytherin would be friends with everyone with top grades but willing to share the knowlege. Because to get on top you have to, as Ver Faulkner says it, 'be in everyone's good graces'.

Although Vera Faulkner, my OC, is a little bitch. And she is cunning and sly and a wonerful actress. She is a true Slytherin but she does her bad qualities like all the Slytherins you are acquianted with. I don't believe she represents her entrie house with her coniving but her outward appearance does.

Anyway, I don't know why I ranted on about this. the Harry Potter craze is over. I miss it. It was a big part of my life. I only wish that the Harry Potter series was less... flat.

Guess what I've been doing lately!

1] October!
When October comes around, nitaGORE goes into dress-up overload! That's right! She rips through her wardrobe, trying on various things and generally having fun. It's costumes-galore! October means HALLOWEEN! nitaGORE's favorite time of year! So, what is nitaGORE being this Halloween? You'll all just have to wait and find out. She'll have pictures up for you on that wonderful day!

2] Drama!
Yeah, nitaGORE has somehow found her way to Asian dramas. Will that obsessive weirdo ever learn? Stay away from the Asian culture! But it's nitaGore and she just can't help herself. And her new show of worship is Yukan Club! And intensely silly show with such a CUTE cast.

3] Rock!
Is nitaGORE ever complete without music? Of course not! nitaGORE without music is like... Life without the living. It just doesn't make sense. And, although nitaGORE loves nonsense, she doesn't like this kind of nonsense. So, what music is she listening to? If you guess J-rock, you are correct. Of course, she's also listening to J-pop too. She really can't help herself when it comes to the adorable Asians...

4] Comics!
nitaGORE will never get over her love of comics and manga. She spends far too much time reading manga and waiting for updates on her favorite online comics. Come on now, you sill mangakas, stop hooking our beloved nitaGORE on your mangas!

5] Bumperstickers!
The wonderfantabulous Stephenie sends nitaGORE tons of bumperstickers to look at. They're all so funny or cute! nitaGORE has a tendency to squeal with delight when she sees them. So, Steph, don't stop sending them!

And that's the nitaGORE of today! There would be more if she had money to spend on movies and books but sadly, nitaGORE is still jobless.

Okay, something has been realy bothering me. What's been bothering me? The stories on Quizilla. I can never seem to find enough stories on here that are interesting or.. well, not brainless.

Let me explain.

I'm extremely picky when it comes to reading stories. Seriously. There is so much I look for in just the title alone. And then there's the first paragraph and then the first chapter and so on.

I've found a fair enough amount of good stories on Quizilla that I love read. I have favorited them. Although, when quizilla was being even more glitchy than currently, i had tried favoriting stories before and, well, they didn't get saved and I didn't notice until too late.

Anyway, in the title, I look for proper capitalization. Rarely will I click on a story with a title that doesn't have proper capitalization. Unless it's obvious the improper capitalization was on purpose. But that's rarely the case.

Another thing is an interesting title. Make me guess what it's about. Intrigue me.

I know my titles aren't awesome but I'm not to fond of titles like "A vampire kidnapped me and now we're getting married!?" Yeah. I only read the profiles because I get a kick out of them.

So, proper capitalization and intriguing title.

I also don't like cliche or overused titles like: Bleeding Rose or something like that. It's boring. Could you please be a little more original? Please? Make your title memorable.

Now, on to the first paragraph. This, most of the time, decides whether I will read your story or not. It there are none or close to no grammatical or spelling errors, I'll continue. If it had an original opening line, I give it bonus points.

After that, if the rest of the chapter is well written, I'll read the next. If the story hasn't caputred my interest by the second chapter, I usually don't continue reading it.

There's so much more to it than just the few things I've illustrated that make me a picky reader but I can't remember how else I judge stories.

But, honestly, the title is the thing that reels me in so make it good.

I might be absent from Quizilla for a bit. You can thank my grandfather. He has passworded the computer so I don't have acess. It's really annoying.

I want to know: Does anyone read the stuff I put up? I'm just curious. I don't really care because I really only put it up here so, if my computer crashes or it gets deleted, I have a backup. I have all my stuff also saved in my e-mail. I am a paranoid girly, aren't I?

I added some stuff to my favorites and I just realized that IT WASN'T ADDING THEM. And I added a lot of good stuff, too. How am I going to find stuff I read yesterday or the day before? That's so mean! I wanted that stuff on my favorite list so I could share those poems and stories with whoever happens across my profile.

I want to know who rated my mock-story. Were they taking it seriously? Because I'm not. It's just something to amuse myself with. Really. I'm not actually putting any effort into it.

But the first chapter got favorited. Twice. What the flip?

It's not good. It's not original. And I don't even think it's all that amusing to read. To write, yes, because I'm really just poking fun at a story I read somewhere. No, I will not tell you what story. But I can tell you that I did not find the story on Quizilla.

On a different note:

I'm kind of at a stand still with the stories I'm writing. I can only really write CreateYouOwnSoulMate.com and that's because... it's just nothing. The stories I really want to write, nothing is coming to me. I really want to finish Wicked Mad. I know what I want to write and how I want to write it but... I can't write it. The words just won't come.

It's kind of depressing me.
