I'm loud and proud 18-year-old, with an Australian accent to boot. I enjoy reading and writing with no preference towards either of the two. In all honesty, I'm bright, bold and blunt when in conversation. I have a very heated temper, and when provoked, will not retain from witty and offensive methods of humiliation. I've been so down lately. =[
I think I need to see my therapist again... it's just been so long since I've felt this bad that I feel kinda embarrassed going back. Oh well, maybe I'll try my union psychiatrist instead.
Anyways, I've been writing sparingly lately. Mood and morals have been so low it's hard to find time or effort to sit down at a computer for too long. I did put some time into it and had a long brainstorm about Ancient Journey. I now know exactly what's going to happen and such, it's just getting it all written down... *sigh*
I've also been thinking about re-writing my the Others story so that's it's either in third or first person perspective. Since it's original it's more appropriate and would suit the tone and mood of Kirstov's narrative better. She's one of my most favourite characters I've ever managed to create. Nothing like a realistic, sarcastic somewhat apathetic teen to take responsibility of powers she can't even understand. :P
For some reason I was inspired to begin writing a sequel to Foolish Games and actually came up with an alright idea as to why she didn't die. ;P It'll be another three parter and be in Hana's perspective. I was this time inspired by the song "Duvet" by BOA, which is the Lain theme, it has such beautiful lyrics. Not too much the actual song...
I've been tossing around and rewriting my other original story Horizons of a Setting Sun and think I've been going well with that. It's in the perspective of a teenage girl who's lived a lifeless existence. The story starts with her ending her life, but that's only the beginning... This story has been in my head for a long time and I want it to come out nicely. It's very dark very gory and has a lot of violence and death in it.
Nothing else is new otherwise. It feel so strange how time has been flying so fast and yet I've done almost nothing. Gah, this has been the fastest year of my life.
