From the office of Sarah & Kirsty: Story Sneak Preview
Yes so I mentioned in the update I just posted that there was something here you would like to see, particularly if you miss Sarah and I sticking exclusively to Avenged Sevenfold in our stories.I got the inspiration for this from watching Most Haunted Live At Halloween, made up a plot, told Sarah and we began to write.
I'm currently writing chapter 7 and iunno when we'll post this; when we've finished writing it I'm guessing.
But anyways your excerpt...........
Our Darkest Days
Dark billowing clouds of putrid grey smoke rose up into the balmy evening air, carrying with it the nauseating smell of burning flesh and the screams of what would either be considered delight or pain as yet more women were burnt at the stake, accused of witchcraft and consorting with the devil, all the while people continued to crowd round and watch.
Zack and I didn't stick around. The smell was too much and I'd been sick the day before because of it. Burning flesh was not a favourable smell by any accounts. It didn't help when it was combined with the high pitched screams that always hurt my ears to listen to.
Unfortunately we were on the wrong side of the stakes today, down wind and therefore however far we walked down the beach we were going to smell it. Walk the other way and we would have to walk directly passed the 'witches' to get up wind from the smell.
This just left us with walking back to the town, not something I really wanted to do but since we had no other choice I couldn't complain. Or I could, I just wasn't going to. Reaching the strip of grassy banks the separated the beach and the edge of the town, I looked back.
That's your lot!!! Mwahahahahahaha!!!!!
Okay I'm sorry, we love you really but you are going to have to wait for the rest.
Much love to you all
Kirsty & Sarah
