Where were you today 6 years ago

On September 11, 2001 I was in 3rd grade at HFS. Me my three bestfriends, Nick S. Cornelius and Shala' were all talking in the back of class and my teacher at the time, Ms. Fries was yelling at us to be quiet. Then it got quiet...there was a lockdown. We couldn't go anywhere to the bathroom or anything. Next thing I know my mom is comming to pick me up. In my mind I didn't want to leave Nick S. by himself but he was getting picked up soon, and Cornelius and Shala' had already left. So we had head over to my cousin/godmother Niki house. Uncle Tye, Aunt Naomi, Grandma, Auntie Gladys Dallas, Ellie Greg and Shawn were there. I was upstairs watching Nicklodeon, Spongebob was on. My daddy was stuck in traffic he worked at AmtraK at the time so he was trying to get to Owings Mills from D.C. We were out of school the rest of the week. It was a tuesday. When we got back they finally told us what happen that next week on Friday my family had let me know earlier on September 12th. I am still shocked. Where were you?
