MIAMI MOVERS - Choosing A Mover

Are you going to be moving soon? Moving is a big deal. Make the incorrect selection and you may be sorry for a long time. Here are some tips:

License & Insurance:
Check to make sure that you select a mover that is licenced and insured. Every moving company has to be licensed & insured by law. License and insurance type they must carry can be different depending on the state the business is located in.

Place of Business:
Check to make sure that the movers you select have a physical location & that it's real. Having the mover's actual location is essential if it's necessary to make a grievance. Beware of a moving company that doesn't have a physical address.

The Salesman:
Ask if the moving company is a moving company or a broker. A broker isn't a moving company, they are a middle man that links the client with a moving company in order to charge you a fee. The broker does not work with the moving company they just sell the moving company with the potential client. You have no idea who is going to show up at your door the day of the move.

Some Things To Find Out:

Is the Business Insured?
What is the degree of insurance the moving company provides for your move?
Does the mover propose different insurance choices different than the basic liability?
What is the procedure to file a grievance if necessary?

How Can Payment Be Made?
What methods of payment are accepted - cash, check, money order, or Visa/Mastercard/Amex?
Is a deposit involved & is it refundable if I decide to cancel.
At what point does payment have to be made?

Company Reliability
Ask since when the moving company has been in business?
Ask if the moving company can provide references?
Ask if the moving company is certified to execute moves in the state?
Ask if the moving company has their own trucks & staff or do they subcontract vehicle's & staff?

Don't rush it. Take the time to make a good decision. If you would like a free quote, we urge you to visit with our site at Movers In Miami or South Florida Movers.
