There are plenty of towns to visit on a San Diego beach vacation. La Jolla is a nice place to visit with it nice shops and the scenic La Jolla Shores and Cove. Visit Old Town and enjoy some good mexican food and the historic buildings. Downtown is pretty with the grand baseball field and Gaslamp Quarter nearby. Here you'll find an urban shopping district, bars, and restaurants. Coronado across the bridge has beautiful Hotel del Coronado and beach.
