Camp Rock - Mouth Shut - Shane Gray

Chapter Three: Surprise!

Caitlyn and I walked through the camp grounds chatting about our lives. Well her life and my fake life I guess because I wasn't telling her who the real me is.

"Hey where are you two going?" a boy asked us randomly jumping out of nowhere.

Caitlyn told him where we were going only to be told we were not allowed in the Mess Hall and we had to meet together to be introduced to the music director at camp.

The boy who Caitlyn seem to know chatted their way to this meeting place while I trailed behind feeling out of place. Just like dad does when ever I come to meet him at work. We arrived at a big stage which had a sign reading 'Welcome Camp Rockers.' I scoffed, is this all they could afford for the tons of money our parents had to pay. I rolled my eyes before Caitlyn said she wanted her laptop and ran off back towards our cabin.

I decided to talk to the boy who told us to come here but I had lost him in the amount of people around me. I sighed and decided to just stand and pretend I was meant to be here instead of feeling out of place.

Suddenly a female ran on stage with red hair and a outfit I so badly wanted to change on her. She introduced herself and started to explain the camp rules but I was too busy giving her a mental make over in my mind.

I looked back up and noticed the boy who Caitlyn had talked to eailer and another boy with him who started to dance with the music director and beat box. I laughed and joined in by putting my hands up in the air and waving them around.

When the boys were done the music director kicked them off stage and continued her speech which ended up with everyone clapping and cheering before she cleared her throat for a drum roll.

"For the first time we are going to be joined at camp by a very special celebrity guest instructor."

Everyone started to whisper among them selves who it would be before the music instructor announced it would be Connect Three star Shane Gray. Three quarters of the females in the audience started to cheer and squeal while I rolled my eyes.

Shane Gray was a stupid idiot pop star who was liked by millions of girls around the world but was really a stuck up jerk. I know because my dad said that the company who produces Connect Three was going to fire him off because of the way he acts. This camp has just suddenly became my worst nightmare.

"Hey Audrey" Caitlyn waved a hand in front of my face, "don’t tell me you like Shane Gray?" She asked snapping me out of my thoughts.

I laughed and shook my head while she grinned and introduced me to a girl who had a fridge and long brown hair.

"Hi Mitchie, I'm Audrey" I smiled shaking her hand.

Suddenly I had a feeling she was in the same place as I was. Confused and lost in Camp Hell.
