Chapter Two: I Could Get Use To This
I grinned to myself as we entered the campsite which was filled with people talking loudly, dancing and a few who kept drumming their drumsticks on everything they could touch. For some reason I really thought I was going to like this place and not hate it.
"Doesn't look too bad" my driver commented as he ducked away from a boy who was attempting to drum on his shoulder.
I laughed as the boy gave me a quick smile before walking towards a bus to bang his drumsticks on.
"Do you need any help with you case?" he asked.
I shook my head as my driver bid me a good luck and a good bye before walking the long way back to the limo. I really need to get my dad to raise his pay because he was a really nice man for helping me bring my luggage and to promise not to tell my master plan to my parents.
I began to drag my heavy case as I walked deeper into the camp grounds. I really had no idea what I was going to do or where I was going but I'm sure at least someone would be kind enough to let me stay in their cabin.
"Hey you need help" someone asked as they tapped my shoulder.
I turned around to look at the female who just smiled at me. She had long brown hair which was wavy and had a slight tan.
"Yes" I replied before explaining the problem I had about the cabins and telling her about me being new here.
"Well I'm Caitlyn and watch out because I'm going to be the next best selling music producer” she beamed at me.
"I'm Audrey" I replied, "er... watch out because I'm going to be your cabin partner..." I trailed off trying to make a joke.
She laughed anyway which seem to relax me as she led me to a cabin which was the last cabin in the long row of cabins. I followed her up the steps and commented on how big the cabin was.
Through this was my first time at camp I couldn't help but realize how small the cabins seem to be on television shows when in real life they were huge. "Make your self at home" Caitlyn beamed as she flopped onto a bed near a window and took out a laptop.
I began to pull out my belongings and stuffed them into an oak dresser that was next to the bed I had been given to which was also near a window. I was quite happy with the bed I had been given because Caitlyn's window was blocked by trees while mine looked straight into the big lake that was located in the camp.
"Thanks for letting me stay with you" I said after packing my belongings and looking over Caitlyn's shoulder. Caityn nodded before I sat down on the ground and looked up at her.
"What are you doing?" Caitlyn asked rasing an eyebrow and closing the laptop.
I shrugged. I didn't belong in this place and was very confused on what I could or should do.
I could see Caitlyn roll her eyes before I decided to start a conversation to get to know her better. "So do you do anything interesting?"I asked braking the silence.
"Well I play the keyboard, very well if I do say so myself." I rolled my eyes before she gave me a slight kick which made us both giggle. "What about you?"
I cupped my chin and began to think, I really was only sent here to be 'babysat' because my parents didn't trust me, but what could I do really well? "Well my mom says I'm a really good dancer and singer..." I trailed off trying to figure out my talents.
Caitlyn laughed before standing up and outstretching her arm towards me. "Come on, lets get something to eat I heard they have a new chief and I wanna try the new cooking."
