RECAP :
"Are you going to marry him?" You couldn't look into Dan's eyes. You just couldn't. You just had a feeling now that they weren't your eyes anymore to look at. You mumbled
"yes" Dan took a step backwards and looked at you with sad eyes... He kept on walking away from you. You looked at him, and he was looking at you and at the same time walking backwards away from you. Then A Car stopped and he look at you for a long time. He then got into the car, and the car drove off.
What had i done?
BACK TO THE STORY
ONE MONTH LATER...
"Becca? its 9. Are You Ready?" Kelsi asked you.
" Becky???" she asked again.
"come on Becks.. you've got to get over him... after all you are the one who drove him off and agreed to marry jacob. Its been a month."
"i know." You told her back weakly. You were standing by the window looking out. There hadn't been a single day since you had told Dan that you were going to marry Jacob that you could forget about him. You always saw him in your dreams. Kelsi placed her hand over your shoulder and said,
"so just forget about him." You looked at her and told her,
"its just that... today.. its the same day we met. Kelsi looked at you with no expression on her face and said,
"Rebecca... you're getting married to another guy... we've gotta go get your dress now." you nodded and you both walked out of the apartment and into her car. While Kelsi was driving, you looked at her... she looked so grown up.. it was hard to even imagine that you had know her since 3. Kelsi parked infront of the salon and you both got out of the car. You found it hard to get up but Kelsi helped you.
"i hope the dress wont shrink." Kelsi told you.
"shrink?" you asked her confused.
"yeah... look at the size of your tummy! what if it keeps growing and the dress ends up to small for you?" You looked down at your stomach. Kelsi was right. Your stomach was huge now. You patted it and said,
"thats my little Dan in there."
"Can you hear yourself???" Kelsi asked you.
"i cant believe i just said dat." Kelsi shrugged and just said,
"come on lets get inside."
Kelsi and you went inside, the ladies who were going to help you with your dress were a few years older than you and they recognised you at once.
"you're dan's wife right?"
"erm ex."
"so he's single now? "
"uh i guess."
"eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! oh my god!" the girl screamed. You had to cover your ears and kelsi cleared ehr throat and said,
"can we just get to business? we've got a pregnant lady here hello?" there were about three ladies and when kelsi said that, one of the ladies, the one with black hair said,
"that's dan's baby?" you sighed and said rudely,
"look im not here on an interview.. im tired and iv got stuff to do so can we like start?" they all started to get the stuff and dress. The black haired girl pulled you on to a stage or something and started taking measurements.
It was long. It took you all day and by the time they were done with the dress you were exhausted. It was already almost dark outside and all you wanted was to go home and lie on your soft warm bed.
"wow"
"i know... warm and soft bed..hmmm" you muttered closing your eyes.
"err what are you talking about beks? i meant the dress... look!" you opened your eyes and stared with your mouth open. the dress was amazing better than the dress you wore to you marriage with Dan.
"woah."
"you're gonna look great."
"i need some air.. can we go now?"
"yeah sure. you go on out already. I'll pay."
you were glad that you were outside away from the hot store and annoying ladies. stupid girls you thought.
you crossed the road and thought about your baby. Was it going to be a girl or a boy? would it look like dan or me? all of your thoughts were disturbed when you heard a familiar scream......
