Back-linking

They have always been the best way to increase Page Rank for your site.
Until the top Search Engines change how they value a site, it is one of the most critical aspects of gaining Page Rank and traffic.
Luckily we are no longer restricted to endless, boring directory submissions.
The methods shown underneath are becoming popular as alternatives to plain directory submissions.
Allow the steps below to inspire you to think of other ways to generate back-links.

There are plenty of free directories and you can save yourself a lot of time by using directory submission software.

* Link-bait
If your site has great content, you will acquire natural back-links over time.
This will take time as your site grows and the content becomes more valuable.

* Forums, guest books and comment boxes
Find relevant forums, guest books and blog comment boxes, leave a good comment and you have an instant back-link.
Do remember to use your signature and make sure it contains your URL.

Do some research on each topic and implement it to increase your back-links.
Avoid becoming overwhelmed by all the SEO information on the internet by setting up a plan of action and implementing it.
If your back-links are relevant to your site, you will not be penalized using any of the methods mentioned above.
