"Hi Elliot!"

"Elliot, What's up?"

"Congratulations!"

"Wanna sit with us at lunch?"

I was walking in the hallway in school. It was two days since the talent show was and it was amazing how it got me popular. I won and I'd never felt so good in my entire life.

My new look helped to, I guessed.

I walked to my locker and the people standing beside it smiled at me and moved so I could open it. Next class: History.

I felt someone picking on my shoulder. "Elliot?"

I turned around. Mu jaw dropped when I saw Eva standing there with a big white smile on her flawless face.

"Y-yes?" I stuttered.

Her friends Willow and Anna-Lisa was standing behind her giggling and smiling.

"I was just wondering if you wanted to go to Starbucks with me after school?"

Time froze.

"L-like a date?" I managed to say.

Wow! I was impressed by myself that I actually managed to do that.

Her friends giggled and Eva smiled.

"Yes. Like a date." She flipped her dark hair over her shoulder.

"Yeah. I would most definitive want to go on a date with you. Yes. That sounds fun."

"Good. See you outside the gates then."

She winked and walked away.

Woah! Did that just happen? Yes! Yes! Yes!

I smiled at myself and looked around me only to realise I had an audience.

Casey Albright-Jones looked a bit pissed, as many other guys did.

"Go Elliot!" Allan Moore said loudly and whistled.

Other older and popular guys started to wolf-whistle and clap.

All the girls had a jelous expression on their face. Espacially Tiffanie Taylor.

"Elliot?" Edward, Zach and Julie was standing back in the crowd, looking at me with big eyes.

"Hey guys." I said and walked up to them. The crowd scattered.

Edward looked angry and Zach showed no emotion. Julie was hiding under her fringe and hoodie. All black ofcourse.

"So... You're going on a date with Eva Bramwell?"

I smiled proudly. "Yeah, after school."

Zach nodded and put on his best know-it-all face. "You know she's... Ah... whatever..."

"What is it?" I told him.

"Oh, there's nothing..."

"Come on Zach, we all know there is something."

"Okay! She's just dating you because you won that contest!"

What!? I had a big urgue to punch him in the nose.

"Shut up Zach! You're just jelous!" I yelled and stepped closer.

"Oh yeah!? Then why did she start to show intrest in you after you changed completely?" Zach yelled back and stepped closer too.

"What do you mean?"

"You are all wierd! You look like a clone of the so called 'popular' guys and you don't even care about us anymore! You are just as shallow as them!"

"Just because I don't dress in my fathers old pants from the 80's and a Digimon T-shirt, like some other does..." I said and looked at Zach from top to tow just to demonstrate. I didn't care if it hurt him. "...it doesn't mean I'm shallow!"

"You just showed us that you really are..."

Silence.

"Good bye Elliot"

I dropped my stuff at my desk in the classroom and smiled for myself of no particular reason.

Anna-Lisa sat down behind me and Eva sat on my left side.

The door opened and everyone got quiet. In came Mr Harris, our teacher and a boy I had never seen before.

I guessed that he was just a little but taller than I was. His hair was blonde and looked incredibly good.

"Class! This is Willis Richards, he's new, so bee nice to him."

Willis smiled at the class and walked to the back of the class and sat down by a free desk.

I had noticed that he had one green eye and one blue.

"You will do a project about the Roman empire, which I hope you all know about now. Someone will have to help Willis since he hasn't learned about this."

Mr Harris eyes scanned to whole classroom. Then he stopped at me.

"Willow, you can help Willis."
