I awoke sleeping next to Falcon with nothing on. I sat up with the blanket over my breasts. I looked over at Falcons sleeping figure and smiled. I remember last night and our wedding night and my smile grew. I cuddled up against him and closed my eyes. Soon I felt Falcon move.
“Tiayou?” He asked.
“Yes?” I said with a smile.
“I love you.” He said.
“I love you too.” I said and kissed him as he turned to face me. “You know we cant do it again Falcon.”
“Yeah but you know I want to.......” He said with a pouty face. I giggled and kissed him again before getting up. I walked over to my bags and got something out that I could wear for the day. After I got the cloths I walked into the bathroom and washed up and got changed. When I walked out Falcon was just standing there.... with nothing on....
“Falcon!” I yelled at him in a hush so not to wake anyone up. I threw my towel at him and turned around to blush. I feel him come and hug me from behind.
“What’s wrong?” he asked.
“Falcon.... Your embarrassing me.” I said turning my face away from his.
“Why no one is here?” He replied.
“Just get dressed Falcon. I mean We are going to bring Athaniar to the farm today.” I added and began to pack my things up. I could tell that that motivated Falcon enough for him to get dressed and pack his things. When I was done I got up and walked to the door. “I will be right back I am going to wake up Athaniar. If you could can you wake up Enji.” I said and threw my things over my shoulder. He nodded to me and I walked out. When I had gotten to my sons room he was all curled up in his blankets. I walked up to him slowly and shock him awake.
“Mom?” He asked.
“Yeah its me. Come on wake up. You want to see where your dad and uncle Enji used to live.” I asked.
“Yeah!” He said and shot out of bed. He ran all around the room getting everything together and getting dressed. I watched him as he ran a muck around the room and soon our friend walked in to see what was going on.
“What is going on in here.” She asked sounding a little shocked. I turned around and smiled at her.
“We are going to my husbands old home.” I told her.
“Oh? That must be nice.” She said with a smile. “You are most likely going to need a boat to get across the water than if you are crossing.” She added.
“No we have our own way of getting there.” I said adding a small smile as I remembered the necromancers gift. I looked at my son again as he finished his packing. “Will it be okay is we stay for some food before we go.” I asked the woman.
“That would be nice.” She said and walked out of the room to prepare food.
“Come on Athaniar.” I said and walked out as well. He soon followed. We had turned the corner and found Falcon and Enji just walking out of Enjis room. “Hey boys.” I smiled.
“Hey Tiayou, Athaniar.” Enji said as Falcon walked over to us and picked our son up and put him on his shoulder.
“Dad!” He complained. We all laughed.
“Hun let him down.” I said in-between laughs.
“Fine.” He said and put him down but not without a little tickle fight. “Run along squirt.” Falcon said after the tickling was done. Athaniar got up just in time for-
“Food!” called the owner of the house.
“FOOD!!” Athaniar yelled and ran to the kitchen. Enji, Falcon, and I laughed as we walked after him. When we got there he was already asking for seconds.
“Athaniar manners.” I said with a stern look.
“Yes mom.” He said as everyone was sitting down. I sat next to Athaniar and Falcon who sat next to Enji. The meal was silent for some reason. Wether it was talking about things at someone else's home and in there presence or something else. I new why I was not talking. I had a bad feeling about today. It was like I new that someone was to die today but I new not who. Ether way everyone finished and we made our way outside. I had summoned felsteeds for Enji, Falcon, and I and let Athaniar summon his own.
“So are you guys leaving?” The woman asked.
“Yeah.” I said looking back at her as I was hocking up my things. She looked sad. “What’s up.” I asked walking over to her out of ear shot from the boys.
“I just have a bad feeling about the way you are going. The undead will attack your child and you guys for sure.” She said looking sad. “And I would like to see you guys again some day.”
“I know my friend but that may not be. i am still shocked that you let a undead and three elves stay at your home. You are and okay human. When I become Queen of Silvermoon I would like you to come and stay there.” I said with a warm smile.
“That would be nice.” She said.
“Goodbye.” I said and walked back over to my horse. I noticed Falcon give me a queries look but i shook my head no at him. Soon after we were on out and getting closer to our undead ‘friends.’
“Well well well look who’s back.” Said and undead in a voice that scared my son.
“You will bite your tongue when infant of my son!” I said in a harsh tone.
“Oooooh so scary. and was is and Elf like you going to do about it?” He asked. I glared at him.
“We have been given passage from the necromancer Kel'Thuzad. We have right of passage.” Enji said knowing that I was going to kill the undead right in front of my son. The undead looked at the charm we had gotten form the lich and sighed.
“You would have been a good meal. Fine I will show you the way.” The undead said and began to walk us through the ruined town. I stayed close to my son to show that I did not want harm to come to him. The undead were looking at us but keeping there distance and It was scaring Athaniar.
“All of you back off!” I yelled and they all went back into the shadows. I glared around making sure no one was there anymore. One did stay though.
“Long time no see.” It was the undead that was walking with us before.
“Yes long time no see.” I said.
“Mom who is this?” Athaniar asked.
“This is the man who had walked us threw here before.” I told him.
“A son already? Wow that was fast. Oh yeah your an elf I forgot for a second. You seem human to me.” He said. That was where he crossed the line.
“What was that.” I asked frustrated that he would call me a human.
“Oh nothing.” He said and shifted his eyes, walking away.
“Lets just get going.” I said flames rising behind me in my anger. Ether way we made it out and road strait to the farm. As we were riding close to Deathknell I could tell something was wrong. There were bodies everywhere. In the trees and just everywhere. I looked over at Athaniar to find him scared out of his mind. So, I grabbed the back of his shirt and pulled him of his felsteed and on to mine. His disappeared right after I removed him. He looked up at me as if saying ‘thank you.’ I nodded to him for my reply.
“What happened here?” Falcon asked Enji.
“I have no idea.” Our trot turned into a canter as we made our way to the farm to find in all in ruins. Everyones eyes were wide. All the pumpkins were smashed except one that was the biggest. It gave a warning.
“You can not come here to run my child.” Falcon read. My eyes began to water realizing this was all my fault. Falcon must have seen my eyes water because he came over and put a hand on my shoulder.
“Its not your fault.” He told me. “Lets look for any survivors. This looks resent.” This he said more openly. “I will need the two of you to be good healers today if we find anyone okay?” He spoke more to our son than to me but he new I new what I needed to do.
So with all that said we all got off our horses and looked around. Everyone that I saw I moved over to what was left of the pumpkin patch. “Athaniar!” I called. He came running over to where I was so fast I thought he was using sprint.
“Yes mama?”
“I need you to go into bear form and start to dig holes. It would be best to give them a real barrel. You think you can do that?” I asked him.
“Yeah!” He said happy to do something other than looking for a possibly none existent surviver. In the end there was only one man who lived. but he died soon after expressing his happiness for Falcon, Enji, Athaniar and I. We barred him next to everyone else. I was leaning on Falcon with Athaniar hugging my side and Enji stood a few feet away from us. Athaniar and I had gathered flowers to decorate the graves while Enji and Falcon barred the rest of the dead. The sun was going to set in a few hours and I did not want my son sleeping in a farm where dead people sleep.
I left Falcon and Athaniar’s side only for a moment and summoned a portal to Silvermoon. Everyone turned to me with sad looks on there faces as if saying ‘why? What is the point.’
“Come on lets go. We need to have a talk with my father.” I said. Everyones faces seemed to come alive when i said that and we all made our way into the portal.
It brought us further from Silvermoon than the boys expected. But there questions were soon answered when i pulled out my bag of food. We did not have much left but ether way it was good enough. The meal was silent. The only words spoken was can you pass this, can you pass that and thank you.
“Okay lets go.” I said standing up and summoned three steeds. Athaniar summoned his own.
“What of the food?” Enji asked.
“Leave it.” I said not even looking at him. Everyone could tell there was an anger in the air and that someone was going to die. I got on my Dreadsteed and everyone got on theirs. Soon we were all on our way to Silvermoon.
“Athaniar. If you don’t want to see fighting and death you can stay with an old mentor of mine until I come and get you.” I told him.
“No I am fine.” He replied.
“Alright.” I said as we made it to the gate of the city. “I guess it is a good thing you learned fast.” I said. I jumped of the steed and ran at the guards in cat form. I bit off the esophagus of the first and Enji slit the others. Falcon and Athaniar ran up to us when were were new they were dead.
“I guess it was pointless to summon the steeds when we can all just sprint there.” Enji said. I turned back into my elven form and nodded as I wiped the blood form my expressionless face. With that we ran. We ran threw the Walk of Elders, Murder Row, Court of the Sun and into the Sunfury Spire, killing everyone who was willing to try to stop us. We did not kill any civilians but guards they were a free for all.
“He Falcon leave some for the rest off us! I know you want revenge but so do I for that night a month ago!” Enji called to Falcon. Falcon was killing the most guards. He was still pissed but I could tell he also did not want Athaniar and I to get hurt.
“I know!” He yelled back. His voice echoed in the halls of the spire.
“So you came back!” It was my father. I glared at him and hid Athaniar behind a hall decoration that was tall enough to hide him.
“Father.” I said in a hiss.
“Let me at him first. I want to get back at him for almost killing me the night of your birthday!” Falcon yelled through gritted teeth. I nodded and he ran right at him. I watched as my husband fought threw guards and against my father. That was when i heard a click. My head looked up instantly. There was a gunner. I ran as fast as I could to Falcon as the gun was shot.
“Falcon!!!!” I yelled as the bullet hit my back. To me I fell slowly and he looked over slowly. When he fully turned his eyes were wide in shock and he ran to me. My Fathers were also wide.
“MOM!!!!!” Athaniar called. Tears streaming down his face.
“Mom?” Hy father asked in a whisper as he watched my son run over.
“Tiayou!” Falcon cried as he held me close.
“Falcon...” I said struggling to get it out.
“Yes?” He asked.
“Can you sing a song with me?” I asked. “We never have.”
“Yeah..... yes we can.” He said trying to stop himself from crying.
Me and Falcon sung the song Broken (by Seether and Amy Lee). It was a beautiful song. I held onto Athaniar the whole time and never let go. Enji was crying as well.
“I love you guys so much.” I said to them all when we were done singing. I was crying I knew it was my time to go but I couldn’t. I did not want to leave them. “Falcon I am happy I met you and I am happy I was able to have had Athaniar with you.” I said. “Enji. You are the best friend I have been looking for for a very long time.” I said my dad looked wide eyed at the mention of Enji.
“Tiayou.” He said with a slight bow.
“Athaniar. Look after your dad for me okay. He needs lots of looking after.” I said smelling at my baby boy.
“Mom.” He said tears flowing even more from his eyes. I pat his orange-blond hair down and looked over at my dad.
“And Dad. I will tell mom you say hello.” now It was my time to cry. I cried right there in Falcons arms and I died there right in Falcons arms. But I was not alone. Falcon had lost the will to live when he had felt me go limp and cold. His soul left him that night as well.
I bet this is where you want me to say that my father took Athaniar in and raised him with the help of our friend Enji and they lived happily ever after. Well most of that is true. My father did take in Athaniar and he did get help from our friend and his old friend Enji but there was no happily ever after. Athaniar also lost the will to live like his father and soon died. Enji still angry at my father left and went back to the Farm to start a new. Still not a day goes by where he dose not remember us and our adventures together. He still has not forgotten the sound of Falcon singing with or without me. He has not forgotten playing with Athaniar on the ship or meeting the necromancer. He actually keep the charm that was given to us.
But of Athaniar, Falcon and I you ask? Oh we are with the ancients, the gods, all of Falcons old friends and my mother. We look down on Azoroth ever so often to see how you are doing. I mostly look upon Enji, Tyrande and my father. It turns out Enji is doing well and has a nice life on the farm but is still hunted by the past. Tyrande had gotten news of what had happened and the alliance between the alliance and the horde was severed. My Father on the other hand is still looking over the city. He has become nicer and everyone is much happier in Silvermoon. I only with i was I alive to see it all.
