Chapter 39 | The Club Brawl
I woke up with the sunlight in my eyes and I groaned and turned around and tried to sleep again. Before I fell asleep again, I heard the door opening.
"Wake up Static," I heard Nick say and I turned around in the bed and he was holding out a pill and a glass of water.
"I advise you to take this BEFORE you freak out at Braeden, Jeremy and Dallas," he said, sitting down on the bed.
"I'm not gonna freak out," I said, sitting up.
"You're kidding right?"
I took the pill and shoved it in my mouth and swallowed it with the water.
"I'm not gonna freak out, I'm gonna go biserk on their asses and made them wish they never met me," I said with a tone and Nick laughed.
"Now THERE'S something that I have to make sure to see," Nick said smiling and I rolled my eyes.
"Oh Nick Jonas, so young, so naive," I said, putting my hand on his shoulder.
"And such a good kisser," Nick said before kissing me again. It caught me off guard but I kissed back. After a few minutes of the makeout, which seemed like hours, I pulled away.
"Nick, I shouldn't be doing this right now," I said.
"Why not?"
"Doctor said that I shouldn't do relationships or emotional stuff right now," I told him and he sighed and looked down.
"I really like you," he said.
I touched his cheek. "I like you too Nick but I can't be in a relationship right now and...you're sixteen. I'll be nineteen in a few weeks."
"I know, I know, but it's just hard not to like you."
I smiled a little and gave him a peck on the lips before getting up from the bed. "It's biserk time, would you like to come and watch?"
Nick's frown turned into a sly smile and he followed me out of the room.
---
Luckily, the boys were already awake and in the living room when I decided to make my loud entrance.
"Good Morning!" I yelled from the top of the stairs and the boys (Braeden, Dallas and Jeremy) turned around from the couch and they tried to run.
"Hold it right there!" I yelled in an angry tone. "Don't you dare try to run away from me when I am totally furious at you three!"
They stopped in their tracks but tried to back away from me.
"Would any of you guys like to explain," I said calmly as I walked to them. "Why you guys are such freakin' idiots, getting involved in a club brawl when you are aware of the fact that doing something can jeopardize everything we've ever worked for?!?!?"
The three of them were backed up on the wall and scared for their lives. They've seen me angry before, but never this angry.
"Look Static, we're so---"
"DON'T. SAY. SORRY." I spoke each word slowly and firmly. "I'm tired of hearing sorry just tell me what the hell happened at the club."
"Before we say anything," Braeden said. "Can you please calm down, we don't want you to have a seizure, the doctor told us to keep the stress level down."
"And yet, I am in more stress than ever!" I yelled and they backed off.
"Naomi, please," Braeden pleaded.
"Naomi," I heard from upstairs and I saw Kevin, Joe and Nick at the staircase, sitting at the top step listening in.
"Calm," Kevin advised and I took deep breaths.
"Fine," I said and I took a seat on a chair in the living room. "Now, explain."
"Okay," Jeremy said and the three of them took seats on the couch. "We were at the club and we came in and people saw us coming in with Kevin and Joe and some people started talking. About, two hours into it, we heard a guy saying something to another guy when we passed by the bar."
---
"Dude, they're talking about Naomi," Braeden whispered to Jeremy and Dallas when they passed by the alcohol bar. Two guys, a blonde and a red head were talking to each other there.
"I saw the guys from that Static Sound band coming into the door," the blonde said. "Where's the hot singer?"
"What's the singer's name?" the redhead asked.
"Static Gregory," the blonde smirked. "Man, she's like, sex on wheels. She's freakin' hot."
"Oh yeah, her, she is," the redhead agreed. "Doesn't she wear a purity ring?"
"That's probably for show," the blonde said. "I mean, no one can be that hot and not get some, know what I'm saying Man, I wonder what it's like to do her."
"Dude, she's 18," the redhead said.
"So, at least she's legal. And it's only a 6 year age difference," the blonde said. "I bet you a hundred bucks that I'll be able to get into Static Gregory's pants in the future."
"Not if I get to first," the redhead smirked, taking a drink of his vodka.
"Oh your on," the blonde said. "The person to have Static Gregory lose her virginity, wins a hundred bucks from the other."
"Bet?" the redhead said, holding his hand out.
"Bet," the blonde said, shaking his hand and then Braeden, Dallas and Jeremy approached them.
"We heard our best friend's name in this conversation," Dallas said cooly. The three of them held back their punches.
"Static Gregory," the blonde said smiling. "I can't believe none of you have done her yet, I mean, how can you keep your hands off of that hot goddess?"
And that comment made Braeden punched the blonde guy and then it turned into a large brawl. Jeremy and Dallas double teamed the redhead and then security came.
"Break it up! Break it up!" the man said and he pulled Braeden, Dallas and Jeremy off of the two men on the ground and pushed them out of the club and called the police.
---
"And that's what happened."
I was speechless. "You guys got arrested...from a club brawl...because of me?"
"Not you," Jeremy said. "What two idiot guys said about you."
"We weren't just gonna stand there and do nothing," Braeden said.
"They called you 'sex on wheels' and bet to see who would have sex with you first," Dallas said. "That's disgusting and we made sure that we taught them a lesson NOT to speak ofour little sister that way."
Even though I was angry about the whole thing, I couldn't help but feel...honored that my three best friends did that for me. I got up from my seat and hugged and kissed each of their cheeks.
"Thank you guys," I said. "That was so sweet of you guys, but never, ever, do that again. Promise?"
"We promise," they said in unison. I smiled and then the doorbell rang and I went to get it. I tried to brush down my messy hair with my fingers and opened the front door and saw a guy with a bouquet of flowers in their hand.
"Hey," he said.
"Cody?!"
