-x- Amy's POV
I walked down the hall heading wondering where Ali was. I hoped she ran into James and that everything was fine. God, I was hoping things were more than just fine--if you catch my drift.
Turns out I was pretty dang wrong. I see Bailey, her sister, walking with a smirk on her face with Chad. Ew.
I turned the corner to see Ali holding herself together, crying. I immediately pick up my pace.
"Oh my god, Ali!? Are you okay!?"
She got up, and ran out of sight. James stood up, confused.
"Run after her! She'll end up killing herself!" I whispered to James. I'm surprised she isn't already dead. She never eats, and even when she invites me over to her house, I'm the one who eats the entire pint of ice cream. Gee.
That's when James decided to take off.

Back to Ali's point of view.
I stopped dead in my tracks at the sound of his voice calling my name.
"Alex. Alex, please, please, explain to me what's going on!?"
I turned around and looked at him.
He slowed his pace and walked up to me.
"Look, I know there's something up. Amy has been keeping me up to date with you, believe it or not. She's very persistent. I'm also fully aware that she knows. About us, I mean." He began.
He was watching me carefully, watching my expression. "I've been informed that you're eating habits are poor, but she didn't really want to make a fuss with you. She's worried. She also knows that you and your sister used to be close. I see that is no longer true." I flinched at that.
"Sorry." He said. "I don't know what happen exactly, but I'm pretty sure I've got it figured out." He grimaced. "I care about you, Alex, and I'm sorry. When I said I had a girlfriend, I meant--," he began to become flustered, "I meant that you were my girlfriend." He said covering his eyes with his hand.
My jaw dropped.
"M-me?" I gasped. "You meant me!?" I said angry now. Why didn't he tell me!?
He tried.
"It's not like I could've said: Oh, I can't play, because I really like Ali, a student of mine. Yeah, she might mind." He said exasperated.
I now realize how stupid all of this has been.
"Why were you mad with me that day?" I muttered looking away from him.
"I was mad because you thought that I would be the type of person that would cheat on someone to be with a student. I was mad because you lied to me when I asked if you were okay. I was mad, Alex, look at me! I was mad because I didn't want bad days to be the story of your life!"
"Why did you ignore me?"
"I thought that was what you wanted. You avoided me the next few days, I just assumed."
"I'm sorry."
"Mind telling me what happened?"
I shook my head.
"Can we go elsewhere, please?" I asked.
I looked up at him and he looked back towards the school. I faintly saw Amy nod her head. I sniffled.
"Alex, I want you to be happy." He said, his face saddening just a bit as he stared at the ground. "I'm not sure what makes you happy though."
"You." I said. He looked up at me. "Let's go." I said.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
I nodded.
