if it doesn't show up, try this: http://s193.photobucket.com/albums/z220/eclaire9/?action=view¤t=jerrica.jpgi edited the girl myself! if that doesn't work, she's a rocker/goth with long black hair tied in a very low ponytail.
Name: Jerrica Ryuga (first, last)
Goes to Kagome's school
Hates Kagome and calles her Higurashi a lot (Kagome's last name)
“Finally we’re out of that horrible place!” I hollered while sprinting out of the school.
“Slow down Jerrica, we can’t keep up,” my friends called from behind me. I stopped, but only because I’m nice like that.
“Sorry, but you know I can’t spend another minute with that girl.”
“We know,” the two girls responded together.
“And I can’t stand this tiny skirt.” To prove my point I pulled it down a bit longer.
“We know,” they said again.
Behind my group was a cluster of giggles on their way to us.
“Hey Jerrica,” most of them greeted. Note the word most.
“Hey you guys....Higurashi…” I folded my arms over my chest, glaring at her.
“Ryuga,” she spat back. Unlike the others, I couldn’t tolerate Kagome. Eri, Yuka, and Ayumi were decent in my book, but Kagome just flat out sucks.
“Hey Tsuki, Rini, why don’t we go to my house today instead of getting dango?”
“Sure.” They spent so much time together that they actually almost always said the same thing.
Once we entered the safety of my house I exploded with a plot that had conjured itself up in my mind.
“Ok down to business.”
They smiled. “I knew something was up,” Tsuki grinned.
“Yeah we never change our after school routines unless you’ve got something on the mind,” Rini agreed.
“Am I really that obvious? Oh well, who’s up for a trip to the supermarket? I think we need some eggs.”
They cast confused glances at me. “I was thinking that maybe Higurashi’s house could use a little decoration.”
“You want to egg Kagome’s house?”
“Why not, the bitch has it coming.”
“Jerrica,” Rini started, but couldn’t seem to find the words to finish. Tsuki could.
“Jerri we love you and all and we do hate Kagome, maybe not with such a passion as you do, but isn’t this a bit too far? We just wanna punish her, not her family.”
I smirked. “I have information that her family is currently away on vacation that she couldn’t go on because she’s grounded.”
They looked at each other. “That’s different. Let’s go,” they said together again.
We parted ways to change into our after school clothing (the pic) and met up at the grocery store where we split up the costs and bought maybe 9 cartons of eggs.
The clerk gave each of us a stern glare but PSHH what does she know?
We giggled and I checked my wristwatch. 7:04 on the dot.
Yeah that’s right, it took us 3 hours to get changed and buy some eggs.
“We’ll have to wait until it’s darker,” I cautioned.
They nodded. We headed back to my house to plan out our little…egg-venture. Sorry, I had to.
When the time came we skulked over to Higurashi’s place and took our positions.
I glanced at my watch once more. 9:00, time to strike. On cue, all of us sprang out of
our spots and started pelting the house with egg after egg.
After maybe 3 cartons lights started turning on in the house and we knew we had to hurry.
“Who’s out there?” a manly voice shouted from inside.
“Crap! Jerri I thought you said Kagome was home alone,” Tsuki whispered.
“She was!”
Loud barging footsteps could be heard from inside the house.
“Hide!” I commanded.
The nearest place next to me was some shack looking thing. I bolted in and hid next to the door for a quick escape.
“INUYASHA,” came the shrilly voice of the obnoxious Kagome girl. “SIT BOY!”
A loud pound crashed through the air. Who was Inuyasha?
“What’s the big idea? I hear intruders and go after them and you do that to me?”
“If people see a guy with ears in my yard they’ll freak,” was her whiny yell.
A guy with ears? I peeked through a crack in the door. A man with long flowing white hair and a red kimono was fighting with Kagome. I glanced at the top of his head. There really were ears! I gasped out of shock and one of the ears twitched.
“There’s someone in the shrine,” the man stated.
Crud. I searched for a place to hide inside my hiding place. The only thing available was a well. I shrugged, take what you’re given. I jumped into the well just as I heard the door slide open.
Only thing was, I never heard any footsteps searching for me. Actually I wasn’t too sure what was happening. Everything suddenly turned sparkly and blue, and when it was over I seemed to be in the well again.
I listened for a moment to be sure no one was out there, just waiting to catch me for trespassing and egging. Nothing.
I used the stones on the side to help me climb out, only to be face to face with a sword. A really big one at that.
“You are not Inuyasha,” a male’s voice accused.
“No I would be Jerrica. Are you going to cut my head off?”
He sighed. “It would be troublesome to have an extra body to drag off.”
“So is that a no?” He slid his sword back into his sword-holder-thing. “No then, ok,” I confirmed for myself.
I heaved my body out of the well and fell onto the grass. Wait, grass…last I checked where I was hiding was stone.
I checked my surroundings to find that I wasn’t exactly where I thought I was.
“What is this place,” I asked myself, awed by the beauty of it.
“Are you an ally of Inuyasha?” the stern male voice asked, disregarding my personal question.
“I don’t know who that guy is, but I did hear Kagome talking to someone called that.”
His eyes narrowed. “Are you allies with Kagome?”
I gave a disgusted look. “Hell no! I despise her.”
He lightly smiled. “Then we have something in common girl.”
“You hate her?” He curtly nodded.
“The enemy of my enemy is my friend, eh?” I held my hand out. “I’m Jerrica Ryuga.”
“Sesshomaru,” he answered while ignoring my extended hand.
“Right.” I brought back my arm and rubbed the back of my head in embarrassment.
He took a few sniffs with his nose for a moment. Then he spoke. “You’re a human.”
“And you’re a guy who notices the obvious, good job.” He glared at me, a murderous intent to his eyes.
My eyes went wide and my finger reached out toward his head. He snatched it up instantly.
“What do you think you’re doing?”
“You’re ears…are they real?”
“Of course they are.”
“So then…you’re…not human…are you?”
“State the obvious and people will think you idiotic.”
“I’ll take that as a no. Where am I?”
“Judging from the fact that you know Kagome and you came from the well, I’d say about 500 years your past.”
“Whoa the feudal era…cool.”
“You find none of this strange, frightening? You are not concerned with the fact that you are in the presence of a demon?”
I grinned. “Nope!”
“A strange human you are, but I do sense a unique quality in you. I shall keep you as my pet.”
“You’re pet? I’m not anybody’s pet man!”
“You may be my pet or you may die by my sword,” he threatened.
“I don’t want to do either!”
“You shall also call me Lord Sesshomaru or Master.”
“I-“before I could finish, 2 figures emerged from the well.
Sesshomaru forcefully pushed me behind him and drew his sword.
“Ain’t it a little early for a fight?” the one I presumed to be Inuyasha spoke.
“Inuyasha,” Higurashi confirmed. “Quit being such a lazy old mutt! He’s got one of my classmates!” She thrust her hand in my direction.
Whoa, she cared.
“If Ryuga goes missing there’ll be questions and the last place anyone saw her was my place. I’m not going to have cops snoop around my house.”
Never mind.
“I thought you said you were not allied with the girl,” Sesshomaru grumbled to me.
“I’m not,” I defended.
An intense battle started, I couldn’t tell you what happened for the life of me.
Lots of sword slashing that was for sure, name calling, and long speeches of childhood. What was this, anime?
Kagome yelled a bunch of crap to Inuyasha about how he should do this or that. I however was making much better use of my time.
I found a sharp rock and a branch, tying them together with a vine. Don’t ask me why this was all conveniently here, it just was. Now I had a weapon of my own.
Inuyasha and Sesshomaru were still at it but it was almost like they were taking a small break. Sesshomaru was steadily walking toward Inuyasha and he was backing up my way. I smirked. If this guy was with Kagome then he was my enemy too, and it looked like he could take injuries better than Higurashi.
He backed up maybe another few feet so that he was only an arm’s reach away.
Silently, without one of those lame yells while attacking because that’s just stupid, I mean then they can hear you coming, I thrust forward the sharp end of my spear.
It made a sickening crack when the rock broke off inside his back. I dug it deep in there, not caring that the rock had broken off and all I was doing was poking him with a stick.
He gasped and gagged before falling forward.
“Don’t you touch my master,” I seethed.
“Inuyasha,” Kagome called to him in a pathetic heap of sobs.
“You may prove useful in the future with such fearlessness,” Sesshomaru complemented. “Still, next time, keep out, that was my fight.” He headed off in the direction of the woods. “Are you coming?”
I peeked back at Higurashi and the dog guy. That looked like a depressing scene.
“Sure.”
We got to one point when he suddenly stopped, so I suddenly ran into him.
“Sorry.”
He shook it off and called for someone called Jaken.
He got a little green toad with a hat and a stick.
“Lord Sesshomaru,” a small voice called. A young girl smiled and lightly laughed as she ran out in front of the master. “You brought a lady back. Is she your…” she stuck up her pinky finger and giggled.
“Oh no, I am not his girlfriend. I-“
“Rin this is your new pet, Jerrica.”
She gasped happily and pulled on my arm. “Thank you Lord Sesshomaru. We’re going to have so much fun together Jerrica.”
Rin…Rini. The two could’ve been twins except this one’s younger with a childish hairstyle and about 500 years older. Maybe Rini was Rin’s reincarnation. I smiled.
“I’m sure we will Rin.”
Sesshomaru cleared his throat. “Master Rin.”
“Really?” I raised my eyebrow. He curtly nodded.
I let out an exasperated sigh. “Fine.”
And I started traveling with them.
Occasionally I would wonder what people back home were doing, at one point I’d been gone exactly a week. Maybe Higurashi was making up excuses for me just as she did for herself. That’s right; I got the full story of how often she came, so I finally made sense of the whole ‘sick every moment of the freakin’ month’ thing.
I’d grown accustomed to the ways of Lord Sesshomaru and Master Rin, and I enjoyed the time I spent with them. On the 10th day of my travels Master Rin and I had an…interesting conversation.
“Jerrica, come play by the river with me,” Master Rin beckoned me.
“Coming.” I hurried over to her and sat on a nearby rock to watch her skip around on the bordering ones.
She stopped when she came close to me and sat down also.
“Jerrica can I ask you some questions?”
“You just did.” I poked her nose. “But ask away Master Rin and you shall receive answers.” She smiled up at me.
“Do you miss your home?”
“Honestly yes, but I enjoy life more with you and Lord Sesshomaru then back home. I feel like I belong in this time.”
“I suppose you do, I mean you’re a great hunter and you’re survival skills are fantastic. Ok next question. Who do you like more, me or Lord Sesshomaru?”
“I could never pick between the two of you. Both of you have been so gracious to me.”
“Do you think Lord Sesshomaru is handsome?”
“Of course, the most handsome man I’ve ever laid my eyes on.” I ruffled her hair a bit. “Is that all Little Master?” When not in the company of Lord Sesshomaru I always called her that, she preferred it.
“One more.” She held up her index finger. “Do you have feelings for Lord Sesshomaru?”
I blushed. “Where are all these questions coming from?” I avoided.
“Lord Sesshomaru of course. He asked me to ask you all of this stuff! He’s listening right now.” She quickly covered her mouth up with both her hands. “Oops.”
I heard a faint sigh in the bushes and Lord Sesshomaru stepped out.
I blushed harder.
Yes I did have feelings for the man, but his cold exterior would just be burdened by the softness that is love.
I’d watched him train, let me tell you that’s a whole lot of hot right there, and I’d noticed patterns in things he did. How he had the first bite to eat but he waited to make sure everyone had their fill before he really ate a full meal. How before he sniffed foreign things to him he would tap his nose and smell the air first.
Had he been watching me as well?
“Will you answer her question Jerrica?” he queried.
“Why would you put Master Rin up to asking personal questions like that?”
“To avoid asking them myself, of course.”
“Are you just out to humiliate me or something?”
All the while Master Rin was shaking her little head back and forth between the two of us. Finally she grabbed my hand in her small right one and Sesshomaru’s in her small left, placing them together, and then letting go.
We stared down at our conjoined hands.
“I don’t really know what’s going on,” her small voice started. “But you two are made for each other. Look at the way your hands fit together.”
We stared down at them; it was as if they were molded for each other.
Master Rin closed her eyes and smiled up at us. “See? A perfect match! I’ll give you guys some privacy.” She ran off back to the campsite, leaving us together.
“She’s right you know,” Sesshomaru stated. He lifted our hands and placed them on his cheek so that the back of mine was rubbing up and down against it. “You’re my soul mate Jerrica. I’ve watched you so very closely these days we’ve been together. You’re tendency to call Rin “Little Master”, the wrinkle of your nose when you’re upset, the way you stare at the stars, more amazed every night by their beauty. They don’t even compare to you.”
Could it be possible to get any more red than I was right now?
“Would you be willing to stay in this era with me Jerrica? To never return to your old life? You might be thrown into a few battles if I get careless but-“ I place my finger on his mouth.
“I’ll stay,” I whispered. Then he did something I’ve always longed for him to do.
He tugged my body toward him and planted his cold, soft lips on top of mine. The passion of his lust ran through his mouth and into my own. I pulled my arms around his neck, deepening the kiss, and in return he placed his arms around my waist. We didn’t break until we heard a small voice singing.
“Jerrica and Sesshomaru sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G.”
I turned to face Master Rin and smiled.
“Come here you.” I pulled her into a giant hug and leaned against Sesshomaru’s shoulder, digging my face into the crook of his neck.
I gently kissed and nibbled his neck, making him blush and accidently moan a bit.
“Lord Sesshomaru, are you in pain?” Master Rin asked.
“Go attend to Jaken and spend time with him,” Lord Sesshomaru urgently ordered.
She happily obliged and we continued our make out session from there.
