A few seconds after it really sank in, the tears came. I cried like I never had before. I felt my shoulders shake and heavy sobs came. I fell on the foor and just kept on crying.
Izzy came into my room and pulled me up into her arms. She rubbed my back and tried to sooth me.
About 45 minutes later I had stopped crying completly and me and Izzy were sitting on my bed.
"Do you want to tell me what just happened" Izzy said
I cleared my throat and sniveled "I got a call" Izzy nodded her head urging me to go on. "My dad, he broke out of prison" I said looking down.
Her eyes went wide and her mouth fell open.
"oh my god, Jo, I'm so sorry" she said hugging me.
I suddenly jumped off my bed "oh no! the boys, what time is it."
"It's 11:30" she said also standing up
"We better go now" I said
"K I'll meet you up at the sidewalk" I continued
"ok" Izzy said
She walked out of the room and soon after that I heard the front door shut. I went over to my mirror and stared at my reflection.
My eyeliner was a little smeared and my mascara had ran down the side of my cheek.
I was a mess, I took all my old make-up off and quickly put some new make-up on. I took one more look still not pleased and ran out of the apartment locking the door behind me.
I saw Izzy and she was standing by a yellow cab, I ran up and got in, she slided in beside me.
" To Central park" I said to the driver
The drive was pretty quiet.
We paid and got out of the cab.
"let's go find them"
Wegrabbed each others hand andstarted running.
Izzy stopped "is that them" she said
"I think so"
We ran over to a bench that was about 150 meters away
The boys were surrounded by alot of screaming girls. All I saw was hair,pens,flashes,andrandom body parts.
We both sat down on the bench and waited. After about 20 minutesI felt likemy ears were gonna burst.I stood up and started trying to get their attention.
"Bill" I said jumping up trying to see over the girls heads.
Bill turned and started signing more stuff
Tom was the one who saw me though.
"Hey, move"
He started pushing girls aside trying to get to me.
when he finally did I smiled and gave him a hug.
I came out of the hug and i saw every single girl giving me and Izzy glares. The rest of the boys came around Tom and I gave them all hugs to.
The girls went away one at a time.
"Hey guys, How did u like your wake up call go"I said
"Loud' bill said
we all laughed.
" So what do you guys want to do" Izzy said as we all started walking.
i came up behind Tom andjumped on his back.
He groaned. "hey" i said slapping him playfully" im not that heavy"
We all burst out laughing. This is awesome, these boys have so much more to them then everyone see's, I thought.I had completly for that moment, forgotten about what had happened earlier that morning.
