Element Myths Chapter 1

It was the next day and we were all hanging out at the front of the school waiting for the bell to ring. When it did we ran in to the school. At lunch we went out side and were talking and laughing it became a hobby of ours. Then Sasha came. I nudged Dayya and he stepped forward.

“Sasha” Dayya started “we can’t go out any more”

“What?!” she asked.

“Oh and did you get all the spaghetti out of your shirt Sasha” I asked.

“What kind of parents would teach there kid like that?” she asked.

My eyes teared up. I ran off and locked myself in the class and I locked everyone out.

None of the others besides Yuumi knew.

“You jerk” Yuumi yelled and smacked Sasha in the face.

“What did I do?” she asked.

“Kisa’s parents died when she was three her aunt looked after her until she was eight then she was living on her own and still is you jerk. She has no parents” Yuumi yelled.

Everyone looked at each other not one of them knew about me. Yuumi ran off to find me then the others followed her.

I was curled up in a corner of the class. I held my knees in my arms and was crying into them. Then I heard a knock on the door and voices say “Kisa let us in come on”. Then the bell rang and the teacher opened the door and everyone sat in their seats then Yuumi, Keiko, Keima, Takaomi, and Dayya came over to me.

“Kisa I’m so sorry” Dayya said.

“It’s not your fault” I said through my tears.

The teacher walked over to us “Kisa are you alright?”

“Yeah I’m fine” I answered. I stood up and sat in my seat and Yuumi went to hers and the others went to their class.

After school Yuumi, the others and I walked over to my house and when we got there we got an unsuspecting call it was from Yuumi’s mom, my aunt.

“Aunt Sakura what’s wrong” I was talking and talking and the others were sitting in the living room waiting for me to get off the phone. It was about half an hour before I got off.

“Okay Aunt Sakura bye” I hung up the phone and walked in to the living room.

“So what did mom want” Yuumi asked.

“Well she wants you to go back home” I said.

“What!” everyone yelled.

“Oh I guess we forgot to tell them. Well Yuumi is my cousin and she was only visiting and know her mom wants her to go back and she wants me to go too” I explained.

“What are you going?” Dayya asked.

“I might have to” I said.

“I don’t want to go back I just met new friends” Yuumi looked around.

Everyone looked sad.

The next day we all met up again. We all were kind of sad but that night we all went to my house and called my aunt we sat in a circle and they tried to listen what she was saying.

“Aunt Sakura I have to talk to you…. No…. No….. No….. okay bye” I turned to them “Yuumi we are staying right here!!”

“What really? Woo hoo!!” Yuumi stood up and spun in circles.

“Yahh” everyone joined her.

We went to school the next day and I felt so happy and so alive. I went skipping down the street on the way to school. We were so happy just to know that we wouldn’t have to move yet at least.

Dayya came up to us and we did what we usually did laugh. Keiko and Keima came next they were laughing too. Then Takaomi came up to us he was laughing.
