Layla and I, as well as Johnny and Chad were going to Broadway.
"Layls, can you believe it, we're actually here!" I said as we were looking at the Broadhurst Theater right in front of us.
"I know, I can't wait!" We all entered the theater only to see the director guy of the place.
"Hello, I'm Mr. Newman. You guys must be Casey, Layla, Johnny, and Chad?" We nodded and he smiled.
"Well I'm glad your here. We're doing a musical. Who knows how to sing."
Johnny and I were the only ones who whot are hands up high.
"Excellent, you two shall play the lead roles. Follow me."
We all look at each other in shock. Lead role already? I love this!
Then we follow him.
"Mr. Newman," I began. "Exactly what is it that we're doing?"
He turns back to us. "I'm so sorry for not filling you in. Well I presume you guys know 'High School Musical'" We nodded and he continued, "Well we're putting it on Broadway."
All of our mouths dropped. "So, Casey and Johnny shall play Troy and Gabriella. Layla and Chad will be Sharpay and Ryan."
We nodded and followed him again.
"We shall start rehearsing lines in about an our, so here are your scripts. The play shall be performing for the next two months, starting in three weeks. So shop shop and let's make some magic."

'This could be the start of something....new'. I look dreamily into Johnny's eyes and I could've sworn I've seen him blush. Layla noticed that and is giving that 'is there something I don't know' face. I nod and I give her the 'I'll tell you later' face.
She just winks at me and goes back to reviewing her lines.
"Excellent. Casey, Johnny. You two are perfect at singing. You two are definately the lead roles. Can you guys remember your lines in three weeks?" He asked and we nodded.
"Great, come back by then and we'll start production soon!" He leaves us there to talk to some other people. Johnny looks at me.
"He's right you know." He said. I look at him in confusion.
"That we're perfect at singing. YOu really ahve a beautiful voice."
I blush. "You think?"
"I know so." He said.
He leans a bit closer. I turn to see if anyone was looking. Coast is clear.
I lean closer as well as our lips crash into one another.
It was a nice soft kiss but boy did it feel magical.
We separate and I said, "Um what was that for?" I say blushingly.
He smiles. "I really like you Case, do you want to go out with me?"
I look up to him and nod. "I'd love that." He smiles and kisses my cheek.

"Your dating Johnny?!" Layla practically screamed back in our dorm room.
"Is there a problem?" I asked.
"What about Kevin?"
I sighed, "Look, he's on the other side of the country. I've never been good with long distance relationships. You know that. Besides, I can tell he only sees me as a friend. Meanwhile Johnny...." I trailed off as I was imagining him in my mind.
"Johnny is so sweet and cute and is in the state as myself. He likes me, I like him. So why not?" Layla sighed.
"I don't know Case, something just doesn't feel right about him and I just don't want you to get hurt."I nodded. "It's okay, I'm a big girl. If I see that he's a jerk, I'll dump him." I hug her and I feel her nodded and whispering, alright.
Our hug was interrupted by her cellphone ringing. She check to see 'Joe<3 Calling' flashing on the screen. She answers it and put it on speaker phone.
"Hey Joe, your on speaker." Layla said.
"Hey Layla, hey Casey." Joe said, followed by Nick and Kevin.
"I have you guys on speaker too." He said.
We giggles and Layla said, "How's everything?"
"Good, we're working on our second album. It should be coming out in August!" Joe said with entusiasm.
Then Nick asked, "What's new with you guys?"
I answered, "Well for starters, Layls and I are doing High School Musical on Broadway. She's playing Sharpay and I'm plying Gabriella. And Johnny is doing Troy. Chad is playing Ryan. And I'm dating Johnny since like a few hours ago." I said.
"Congrats!" They all said in unison. "Thanks." Was all I said.
"We gotta let you guys go. Layla take care. I shall talk to you soon babe. Bye Casey." Joe said.
"Bye Casey, bye Layla." Kevina and Nick said.
Layla afterwards clicked the end button and smiled. "Why are you smiling?" I asked.
"I'm happy for you and for this opportunity we got." I smiled and hugged her again.

"Great rehearsal today everyone! Remember opening night is tommorrow and we shall be doing this every weekend for the next for two months. See you all tommorrow." Mr. Newman said.
The cast nodded and started getting ready to leave. Yes it's been a few weeks since I've been picked lead along with johnny. Speaking of him, we're still going on strong. Working hard and kissing here and there a few times.
Nothing big but it's great spending time with him. "You ready to go baby?" He asked. I nodded and followed him outside. Layla and Chad right behind us.

"See you tommorrow night?" He asked in fornt of his door. I nodded and kissed him goodbye. I walked back to my room to see Layla watching MTV News.
"Why are you watching that, you hardly watch that?" I asked.
"They're talking about Jonas Brothers. Come and watch." She patted a seat next to her and I followed.
This just in,the new poplular boy band,The Jonas Brothers are releasing their self titled album on August 7. Their in production of their first music video is starting next week. The name of the song is S.O.S. We asked them a few questions about and they said it's top secret. When asked about their love lives, Nick simply stated that he's not dating. Joe is 'seeing someone' could that someone be AJ Michalka from this recent photograph of them together? Could be. As for oldest Jonas Kevin, he confirmed that he's seeing a girl name Zoe. That's MTV News for you.
