my ears twitched as i woke up. my lids closed, my ears hearing everything going on around me. i heard tiny little excited voices next to me, and then a sharp tug on my ears and tail..... WAIT MY EARS AND TAIL!

"are these things real?"

"come on i want to touch them!"

i heard children whine, they were tugging on my fuzzy fox ears and my long bushy fox tail. i swung my tail out of a child's grip and all the kids gave gasps.

"SHE'S GONNA EAT US!" the kids squealed running over to a wall. my heavy lids opened as they let go of my fox ears. i groaned, my leg was still sore from the evident impact. i sat up and twitched my nose. my eyes falling on the scared group of kids in the room. apparently they were fine when i was asleep but not when i was awake, how funny. i cocked my head at the younger human children. they were small, smaller than kits when they got there fangs, tails, and ears.

"kids leave the woman alone!" a stern female's voice echoed, making the kids look at the doorway. i moved my crimson colored eyes at the doorway as well. at first the voice made me think of the brown haired male, but this was a female human. her long bright blond hair went down to her shoulders, her bright blue eyes looked almost electrifying if the light hit them just right. her skin was lightly tanned, but not overly. she wore a simple kimono, one in BRIGHT orange with little golden fish swimming over the front and the hem of the kimono. it looked rather nice on the blond.

"alright out all of you! you know what Hashirama said! no one in here when she wakes up! now come on." the elder woman ordered, well she wasn't an elder more like a older woman but still around my age or so. the kids streamed out but one lingered looking around on the floor. my fuzzy red fox ears twitched as i heard a loud thumping coming near, well more like little footsteps. suddenly a little white blur appeared on my lap. it had two long floppy ears, brown eyes, and a small puffy white tail. it was a rabbit! it was almost pure white save for the black spot over it's right eye. it was adorable to some extent.

"um... may i have Yami back?" i heard a small shy voice ask from the side of the bed. i looked over at the human, well little human girl really. she had long brown hair up to her waist, and big dark blue eyes, they looked of innocence really. i nodded slowly and i picked up the rabbit gently. i then gave it to the girl who appeared to smile and then bowed at me.

"thank you Kitsune!" she said before exiting the room. i gave a blank look as she left. the elder blond looked at me a little startled. but she had left as well. possibly she had better things to do then watch a battered and busted up Fox demon. my tail swung side to side as i sat up. i looked more closely at my leg, it was banged and put into a splint, well in the best way someone with little medical training could anyhow. just then my ears twitched as i heard heavy footsteps, possibly a human male. or so i feared. the human females were nice enough, males... well they were unpredictable.
