Specialities: In Iwa, Tonobe used her Jishinyari (earthquake-spear) to channel her chakra into the spear to generate variously sized earthquakes (the spear mimics the movement of a constructive plate boundary), so her speciality was earth-bound jutsus. However, after abandoning her village in order to study under her grandfather ‘Yoshika Eichi’ in Suna, Tonobe has been forced to learn new, wind-based jutsus in order to conceal her identity, hence the Tatsumaki series – that uses the reversal of the Jishinyari to create powerful tornados, most destructive when they are made of sand – and Suraisukaze, a jutsu passed down by her grandfather.
