(The following morning)
Wham! I groaned as something hit me in the back of the head.
“Stop it,” I said sleepily into my pillow.
“Get up.”
“Go away,” I groaned, snuggling deeper into my comforter.
“C’mon Ronnie get up, your mum wants to take you shopping,” they ordered again, accept this time they pulled at the top of my comforter and pulled it off me. I realised it was Christian, but I’m not that surprised, he’s the only one brave enough (apart from my mum of course) to come and wake me up, let’s just say that I’m not a morning person.
“Be downstairs in 40minutes Ronnie, it’s already 12 o’clock and you’ve got school tomorrow so you haven’t got all day.”
“Fine, fine,” I groaned once again into my pillow before forcing myself up and started making my way to the bathroom as Christian went back downstairs.
.
After I did my normal routine of shower, teeth and hair, I put on some dark blue tight jeans, a plain white long sleeved top with a black vest on top, some black sequined pumps and I put my hair into a messy bun and put on a black headband with a black bow on. I then grabbed my iPod, purse and mobile and headed downstairs where I had a cheese sandwich before going out front to where my mum was waiting.
.
(Fast-forward to the shopping street)
“So, where d’you wanna go first V?” my mum asked.
“Dunno, G-Star Raw, I need some new jeans,” I said walking up the street, I had seen the shop on our way here. When we got there I grabbed four pairs of jeans, two skinny, two normal and after trying them on, went to the till. Money was no worry for Christian, I didn’t asked for it, I used my own, but he often put money in my account.
“Where now?” my mum asked as we walked out the shop.
“Well I need new school stuff.”
“We’ll get that last, where do you want to look for clothes?”
“Abercrombie & Fitch, Calvin Klein, Hop Topic, Christian Louboutin, Prada, YSL, Gucci and Coach,” I said, I loved all different types of fashion, but my favourites were Hot Topic, I loved the Nightmare before Christmas collection and Abercrombie, I loved the jeans. I just loved to mix-n-match different styles.
“Ok then, let’s go,” my mum said, breaking me out of my thoughts.
.
After we had finished shopping, we had quite a few bags, ok that’s a lie, we had lots of bags. I had bought things from converse to cowboy boots, black eyeliner to pink lip-gloss, skinny jeans to jean skirts and vests to jumpers and they were all pretty colours, they were like my clothes as they ranged from black all the way to pale pink with ruffles. I also had bought my school stuff and some new art supplies, which consisted of pastels, paints and pencils ect.
“Why don’t we go for something to eat!” my mum exclaimed suddenly, breaking me out of my thoughts.
“Erm, sure,” I shrugged, why not, I’d had a busy day so I deserved a treat.
“Great, how about a nice burger?” my mum said clapping her hands together making the bags rattle.
“That’d be great mum, but erm, don’t do that with the bags,” I said with a cautious look towards the bags, if he rattles them anymore they’ll rip.
.
“Here we are, doesn’t this place look lovely?” I nodded my head in agreement as she opened the door and the luscious smell of burger and chips and cookies hit me in the face, making me stand still. It was like walking into a wall of delicious smells. I sighed in content as I sat down, not even realising that we’d been led to a table.
“What you getting V?” my mum said, she always called me V when she was in a good mood.
“Erm, I’ll have a large burger with a side order of French fries and Coleslaw, a medium coke and a large chocolate chip muffin,” I said smiling up at the middle aged man woman who was giving me a wide grin.
“I’ll have a Caesar salad and a burger, a medium orange and large cranberry muffin please,” my mum said smiling also, we were both big eaters, but we had naturally petite bodies so it didn’t worry us, plus we got regular exercise. I looked around me and noticed that there was a large woman sitting to my right, who was giving me an odd look. I grinned realising she only had a salad in front of her, I though it was good that she was trying to lose weight, but I also believe that you’re made how you’re made and we shouldn’t question it; not everyone’s so shallow that they’ll let a weight problem get in the way of getting to know someone most people just see it as a bump in the road. My attention was turned back to the table as our food arrived.
“Yum,” I said rubbing my tummy and sending a kind grin a the large woman. I put mayonnaise and ketchup on what was needed and picked up my burger, squishing it down and taking a bite out of the side. Tasty.
.
“Ohhhh,” I groaned as I walked, well stumbled out of the restaurant, maybe I shouldn’t have ordered such a big burger after all.
