“Emily….” I heard the familiar voice of Jay say.

“My dad’s car is broken, I will be here to get it in 2 hours, and here are the keys” I said handing them to him.

“Please, just wait, talk to me” he said.

I rolled my eyes.

“We already talked enough…. Just forget you ever knew me” I said walking out.

I heard him running behind me.

“I didn’t mean to hurt you. I mean this was before I got to know you… before I fell in love with you… I did call the bet off” he said.

“Oh that makes it all better, jay says he’s in love... well bite me... You don’t even know what love is Jason Hogart” I said and with that I left him standing there.

I walked over to the dot and sat down with a cup of coffee.

I felt my cell phone vibrating.

The caller ID said unknown. I opened it to find a text message.

“Forgive me... Please?”

“Nope.” I texted back.

I took a sip of my coffee and laid my head on the table.

My cell phone started vibrating again.

“Can we just talk?”

“No”

I laughed at his persistence. I went into my purse and put in my head phone. I pretty much just sat at the table reading a magazine.

I felt a tap on my shoulder, and took my headphones out.

It was Jimmy.

“Hey” I said with a smile.

“So I heard that Jay broke your heart?” he asked.

“nah. He bruised it, but it takes a lot more to break it” I laughed. “Anyway, what are you doing here?” I asked.

“Actually just getting some coffee, and than I am off to therapy” he said.

“The day after Christmas?” I asked

“Hey got to do what yaw got to do” Jimmy said with his infamous laugh.

I looked at the clock and noticed that it had been about 4 hours.

“Oh shit, sorry Jim, but I got to go, I was supposed to pick up my dads car about 2 hours ago” I said.

I gave Jimmy a quick hug and took off.

When I got to the shop, I noticed that there were about 3 cars out front, one jay, one mine, and I don’t know about the other one.

*knowing my luck he is fucking a girl on the counter* I thought with a sick feeling.

I walked into the office and jay was waiting for me.

“How much is it?” I asked pulling out my check book.

“Free” he said.

I looked at him and rolled my eyes.

“Whatever, I will give you $500.” I said writing out a check.

“I know I wasn’t right for doing what I did” Jay said sadly and standing up next to me.

“Than why did you do it?” I asked ripping out the check.

“I don’t know….” He said slowly. “I love you” he said looking into my eyes.

I felt a tear coming up, but I ignored it. I handed him the check.

“Well... that is always wonderful to know” I said with a fake smile.

“Can we at least be friends?” Jay asked blocking the door from me.

“Jay what did I say when we became friends. That all of you were the same, you told me that you would prove me wrong, and look what you did to me!” I said angry.

“Im so sorry” he said coming closer.

I looked up at him and we began to get closer and than our lips just kind of came together.

We stood there kissing for about 5 minutes before I realized what was going on.

“I can’t do this” I said pushing him away.

I got into my dads car and drove off, crying the whole way.

When I got home I sat in the car for a good 20 minutes.

I wiped my eyes up, and reapplied my makeup.

*what did I just do* I thought banging my head off the steering wheel.

I heard a knock on the car window, which no lie made me almost crap myself.

I opened the door to see Spin.

“What’s wrong?” he asked pulling me out into a hug.

“I can’t hate him…. But I just… I can’t forgive him” I said crying.

Spin and I stood there with me just crying and him holding me in a hug. I cried until I had no more tears to cry.

“Are you okay?” he asked.

“I don’t know, but I just can’t deal with this anymore… I mean I want to be with him sooo bad, but I still can’t trust him or forgive him” I explained as me and Spin sat down on the front pourch.

“Well I will tell you one thing for sure, jay has never acted this way with a girl, ever, and that must mean that you are something special to him” Spin said.

I smiled.

Suddenly Spins cell phone rang.

“Its jay… do you want to talk to him?” he asked handing me the phone.

I let it ring 2 more times than finally answered.

“Hey” I said taking a deep breath.

“Emily?” he asked somewhat shocked.

“The one and only” I said with a laugh.

“You’re actually talking to me?” he asked somewhat shocked.

“Well... I can’t trust you, but I can’t always think about the past, I am going to forgive you, but I don’t trust you at all” I explained.

“You seriously forgive me, your not just jerking me around?” he asked.

“Nope” I said with a small smile.

***FAST FORWARD 3 DAYS LATER***by the way... for winter break we are off for a full month =]

I woke up in a better mood than I have been so far for the past 2 weeks. It was still 2 weeks before school starts.

I got up and took a shower; I got dressed in a pair of tight blue jeans and a gray sweater which showed some cleavage.

I brushed my teeth, straightened my hair and put on my makeup.

Ever since the night I talked to Jay on Spins phone, we are pretty much just friends with benefits, that cant date other people, okay so we are pretty much dating, but we wont call it that.

I went downstairs and sat down on the couch, waiting for my cell phone to ring.

About an hour later it finally did and it was Jay.

“Ready?” he asked.

“Yes I am” I said getting up and putting on my shoes.

I hung up the phone and went outside to see jay on my front pourch.

I wrapped my arms around him and we kissed.

Today we were going to go out to Wasaga beach and get Sean since he went there the day after Christmas.

I got into the car and so did Jay.

“So does Sean know that I am coming?” Jay asked.

Jay was actually letting me drive so I pulled out.

“Nope” I said with a laugh.

About 3 hours later we were at Wasaga beach. And I pulled into the driveway of the Cameron’s.

Sean was sitting on the front pourch, waiting.

When he saw jays car pull in he really didn’t think anything of it, but when he saw me driving it he got a super shocked look on his face.

Jay and I got out of the car and walked over to Sean.

“So does this mean you two are…?” Sean asked.

“We are not dating, but we are friends” I said with a smile.

Jay smirked at me.

We got all of Sean’s bags into the back of the car and we got in, Jay wanted to drive back.

“So what made the two of you become friends again?” Sean asked.

“Because we can’t live without each other” I said with a smile kissing jay’s cheek.

When we got back to Degrassi it was around 6.

“So what do you want to do?” I asked the boys.

“We could go to the movies, go to the dot, go to your house, and go to my house…” Jay began.

“Let’s go to my house and watch movies” I said happily.

Both of the boys agreed.

Once we got to my house we went inside and to the living room. I went upstairs and changed into jpg shorty shorts and a white tank top.

I came back downstairs to find Sean looking through the movies and Jay sitting on the couch.

I walked over and sat on Jays lap.

“Find a movie yet?” I asked Sean.

“How about the nightmare before Christmas?” he asked.

“Sounds good to me” Jay said kissing my neck.

We hung out watching movies until around 4 am, that’s when I fell asleep in jay’s arms and Sean passed out in the chair.
