Chapter 7 : It Sucks Being the Only Girl at School

After unpacking all of my clothes and placing them on coats, shelves and in drawers. I walked out of the extremly spaciouscloset and decided to explore the school.
I grabbed my phone, room key and a hoody. I have a feeling that I would have to carry around my key and phone everywhere. I don't think that if I came back to the room late Markus would let me in.
I threw on the red hoody and left the eight boys playing gutar hero, or, trying to play behind me.
I was only wearing skinny jeans and chucks, so I didn't stand that much apart from anyone else I had seen. I was just shorter and skinnier than most.
I turned a few left's and right's until I reached the office. I then went from there, down a few corridors and made a turn, untilI passed a huge auditorium. It had atleast 1000 seats.
I walked in and spotted the shiny, black grand piano standing down on the stage. I made my way slowly down the red, velvet carpeted stairs and then walked up the few wooden ones to the stage. I sat on the black, matching piano seat and began to play softly.
I had to beg my parents to buy me one, and after I got it, I always played it. They payed for lessons, but the songs the teacher wanted me to learn were so simple and stupid, I practically taught myself. I loved listening to piano pieces and so I learned all of Yiruma's(composer) compositons.
It's weird 'cause I was always into rock, metal and anything else you could think of from that genre, so right after I got the piano, I got an acoustic, and then an electric guitar. I didn't really have a particular favouriteband because they always varied, so what ever was good, that's what I would learn to play. I learnt alot of Bullet for My Valentine and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.
I was currently playing Kiss the rain by Yiruma, but then some how it changed into Do You by Yiruma. As I played, I thought about alot of things.
Why would my parents want to torcher me? Why would they send me to England? Better yet, why would they put me in an all boy's school?
As I continued to thing and play, I heard a sudden clapping, which made me jump up and stop playing.
I had learnt to play, yes. Infront of people, no.
I turned to face the owner of the clapping hands and found, Markus standing there. Looking quite smug actually.
I rolled my eyes at his expression and then asked, "What do you want?" I folded my arms over my chest and swivelled around in my chair, so I was facing him.
He ignored my question and walked down a few chairs and sat down. "That wasn't half bad I'll admit." He said nonchalantly.
I glared at him, "I'm not sure, but I 'll take it as a compliment." I said bitterly.
I wasn't used to disliking someone. Usually I get along with everyone, but he just has something about him, that makes me dislike him. I would say hate, but it's such a strong word, so I don't say it.
I heard a low chuckle come from him as he stood up and left the room.
I sat there for a few more minutes and thenI checked my phone. It read8.00pm.
I sighed and got up, knowing ina few minutes people would start to file out of their dorms and into the auditorium.
I quickly ran back to my dorm and walked in on the boys still playing guitar hero.It was Markus and Adam.
Markus seemed to be breezing through the song, while Adam was still figuring everything out.
I laughed at the look of confusion on Adam's face after the song had finished.
"So, are you guys going to get ready for the assembly thing or what?" I asked.
They all looked up, suprised and then nodded.
"Oh, and this isConnor, Joe, Ryan, Noah and Bradley." Alex said introducing me to the new faces.
I nodded and waved to them and then walked to my room and got ready.
I didn't do anything, except applied more eyeliner and mascara.
"We ready to go?" I asked the boys sitting on the couch.
They all nodded and I walked out of the dorm behind them all.
As I walked down the corridors I felt someone staring at me, so I turned to see who it was. I was wrong, it wasn't someone staring at me, it was everyonestaring at me. All the boys in the hallway were staring at me.
I jumped to Adam and grabbed his arm, "Please help." I gasped, as we still kept walking. I heard the boys from the dorm all laugh and then suddenly a small circle shape was formed around me and Adam.
I felt safe with Adam, 'cause he didn't seem like the type that would try to crack onto me.
"Thank you." I whispered as we all took our seats. He placed me right next to him and next to Connor.
He smiled, "Anytime."
Next to Connor was Joe, then Noah, then Bradley, then Ryan, then Alex and last and definatley least was Markus.
"Okay, quiet down please students." The headmasters voice rang through the microphone and suddenly a hush fell over the students.
Isat back in my chair and reasted my head on myAdam's shoulder asI skimmed through the brief information the headmaster was giving.
