The diary of a daughter/sister/waitress/ninja

Dear Diary,

I’ve made up my mind, if my parents ever decide to move again I’m going to stay here! I mean, I love this place!! Okay some of the people are kind of weird but they’re all very nice.
Remember those four guys I told you about? Well they’ve kept their promise and showed me around Konoha and although I can’t find everything yet I now know the most important spots.
Well, according to Naruto the ramen shop is the most important place in the world. I didn’t tell him I prefer curry because I’m pretty sure he would have forced me to eat ramen.
Anyway, since yesterday I’m officially a Konoha-ninja. The sad thing is I’m still a genin. All the other people I know are either chunin or jonin so I feel really weak and pathetic.
Luckily I’m not the only one; apparently Naruto is a genin too. But that doesn’t change my feelings and I’m also worried about those chunin-exams. What I heard so far they’re extremely difficult and people actually died during them. It kind of creeps me out -_-“.

Oh remember the spider incident? Ever since then Yumi has a little crush on Kiba, it’s so adorable!! I don’t know if Kiba sees it but for now he’s been really charming and it warms my heart. Maybe I should tell him....you know....to let him know what is going on in my sister’s mind. I wouldn’t want to see her broken-hearted over him. What am I worrying about? Most of Yumi’s ‘crushes’ don’t last long; if another man is nice to her she immediately forgets Kiba......I hope.

Kioshi is still grounded for another week and I’ve never had a better time. I can’t help myself but I just have to keep reminding him of that.... Like last time:

“But father it’s too hot to mow the lawn.”
“Though luck buddy you should have thought about that before tormenting your little sister....IN OUR RESTAURANT!!!”

Dad is still mad about the fact he caused such trouble in the restaurant if that wasn’t clear...

“Oh wow Kioshi I didn’t know you could do that.” I taunted.
“Do what?”
“Work.”
“Oh shut up Kotone!”
I stuck out my tongue and decided to tease him some more.
“Jeez it really IS hot I think I’m going to that shop that sells that delicious ice-cream.” I said while walking away.
“Pfft whatever...”
“Hmm I guess I’m not the only one who’s hot around here.”
I looked at Kioshi to see if he took the bait....and he did.

I know, I know I’m a terrible sister but he’s always making my life hell and for once I had a chance to get my revenge.

“WHO WANTS TO GET ICE-CREAM WITH ME!!!” I yelled.
Fumio, Yumi and Ryuu immediately came running, followed by my mum who looked very surprised and kind of angry because I yelled so loud.
“Sorry for the yelling mother but I’m going to buy the little ones some ice-cream.”
Fumio gave me an annoyed look.
“I mean the little ones and Fumio.” I said smiling while ruffling his hair.
Next I turned to Kioshi whose mouth was wide open.
“Since you’re still grounded I guess it means no ice-cream for you. Oh that’s too bad.” I said sarcastically. “Have fun mowing the lawn.”
Kioshi gave me an evil glare but I ignored it, it’s his own fault.
I didn't, however,ignore the look on my father’s face. He tried to keep it serious but I could see in his eyes he approved my actions. I love my dad!!!

Anyway the ice-cream was really great although Ryuu got a stomach-ache for eating too much and I got a headache for eating too quickly......brain freeze.
But I think my brains are slowly defrosting which is a good thing because I have to start working in 30 minutes.
