We've Got Each Others' Back! [Remake!Sisterhood and mythical creatures]

Miaura Walked into the orphanage and up the stairs. It was a two story house because there aren't many orphans. They're scheduled to build it bigger though. Once she was upstairs, she turned right and walked into her room. Well, it wasn't her room. It was hers and Anami's. Anami was still at school though. She'd be here in about thirty minutes. Miaura dropped her bag at her bed and opened it. She took out her homework and started on it at her desk. About thirty-five minutes later she heard a,

" Stop! Leave me alone!"

It came from outside her window. She looked down out the window and saw Anami. There was this tubby (I know its not a word, but I don't like the word Chubby), kid grabbing her arm, and another grabbing her backpack. That made Miaura mad. She opened her window and shouted,

"Hey, freak! Up here!"

She jumped down out of the window, and onto a tree branch. Then She jumped off and in front of the tubby kid grabbing Anami's arm.

Anami's PROV

I was walking toward the orphanage when I felt some one grab my backpack. Then before I know it, Fred, A guy in my school, ran from behind me to in front of me. He grabbed my arm and shoved his face into my personal space.

"Hey, Anami. I'll be taking your homework now. I saw you do it in class." Fred said.

"Leave me alone!" I shouted, not wanting to hurt him.

"Hey, Freak! Up here!"

You and Fred looked up at the orphanage window. I saw Miaura in front of Fed.

Normal PROV

"You better let go." Miaura said.

Anami sighed with relief as Fred let go. She snatched her hand away. The guy from behind Anami got in front of you and next to Fred. That guy was Connor.

"What do you want?" Fred asked.

"I want you to leave and go home, punk,” Miaura answered.

"And why would we do that?" Connor asked.

"Because I don't want to hurt you."

"Lets see about that!" Fred threw a punch at Miaura but missed. Miaura bent down to the ground and tripped him. Fred fell with a thud. Connor tried to tackle Miaura put that earned him a punch to the cheek. The punch sent him back and landed on Fred. Anami stepped over them and hugged her sister.

"Thanks sis. You saved me the trouble of doing that myself." Anami thanked.

"No prob. If anyone tries anything on you, just use that whistle." Miaura said as she pointed to a yellow and red small whistle on a chain, on Anami's wrist. Miara had a similar one on her wrist. It was red and yellow. Fred tried to get up but Connor was still on him.

"Dude! Get the freak off!" Fred yelled.

Connor scurried off and touched his face. His cheek was purple. Fred stared at Connors bruise.

"I'm getting out of here!" Fred said as he ran back to his house. Connor followed.

"So... Can I use the tree to get up this time?" Anami asked.

"Oh, all right." Miaura answered, her voice a hundred times more soft. When Anami came into the room thought the window, Cheeki greeted her by chirping and landing on her head.

"Hey, Cheeki!" Anami giggled.

Miaura entered after Aname and looked under her bed.

"Moeki!" She whispered/yelled.

The little ferret scurried on Miaura's arm and around her neck.

The two girls giggled.

"Are you finished with your homework, Miaura?" Anami asked, playing with her bird.

"Almost. Just two more questions." Miaura answered.

"What subject?"

"Math."

"Aw, that sucks!"

"Tell me about it."

They both laughed. Miaura finished her last question and looked at the clock. 4:43, it read.

"Ah. Those two boys took more time then I thought." Miaura said.

"That’s because you didn't want to hurt them to badly." Anami said.

"Well, I did do a little damage. I shouldn’t of held back. It would've been easier not to hurt them." Miaura said, blaming herself.

"Well, you had no choice. You couldn't hold back anymore. If you did, you would've dodged all their attacks." Anami said, reassuring her.

"What’s bad about that?" Miaura asked.

"Because then they wouldn't go away." Anami reminded.

"True..."

"Miaura, Anami! Time for dinner!" The orphanage lady shouted.

The sisters exited their room, leaving their pets behind. When they got to the kitchen down stairs, the sat on the chairs. They ate turkey, corn and Brussels sprouts.

Aanami made a face at the sprouts. So did Miaura. They looked at each other.

"Do I have to eat the sprouts?" Anami asked.

Miaura nodded. Luckily they both only had two each.

Anami's PROV

I stabbed the sprout with my fork. With my free hand I grabbed my cup of milk. I quickly stuck the sprout in my mouth. I almost gagged doing it. I chewed fast and swallowed it with my milk. I repeated it with the last one. I looked over to see that Miaura had finished doing the same thing.

Normal PROV

When the two sisters were finished with their dinner, they went upstairs to play with their pets. When Miaura walked inside the room, Moeki was in his cage, waiting at his food bowl. When Anami came in, Cheeki was in her cage, waitin at her food bowl. The two fed them and played with them until bedtime.

"Ladies! Light out!" The orphanage lady said.

"Yes Ma'am!" Anami and Miaura said at the same time.

They turned out the light and went into their beds. Before they went to sleep, Anami spoke up.

"Tomorrow is the last day of school!"

"Yep! I can't wait 'till summer vacation!" Miaura responded as she snuggled with Moeki.

"Yeah..." Anami cuddled with Cheeki.

The two girls fell asleep.
