Carmen sat on a stool in her room at the Akatsuki base. A canvas was in front of her and her paintbrush was poised in her hand. Her pale orange hair was chopped to her shoulders in tomboy-ish layers and there was a swipe of brown paint on her forehead that perfectly matched her warm brown eyes. After sitting like that for hours, she finally stood and stretched, then headed for the kitchen for something to eat. She popped two bagels in the toaster right as Deidara walked in, looking quite annoyed. It was obvious that Tobi was aggravating him again.

"You're going to get extremely obese if you keep eating like that, yeah." Deidara smirked. They both knew it was a lie. Carmen was tall and willowy, and she never seemed to gain a pound.

"You're right, Dei-kun. I would hate to weigh as much as you." Carmen joked, poking him in the stomach. Of course, she felt his abs instead of any fat. Deidara was one of her best friends, and the two were always screwing around. Deidara introduced her to clay bombs, and she showed him the fun of paintballing. Together, they were quite the lethal team.

"Tobi is a good boy!" came an enthusiastic shout as Carmen took a hearty bite of bagel. She chewed slowly, looking up through her think eyelashes as Tobi bounced into the kitchen. He glanced around for Deidara, who seemed to have disappeared as soon as he heard Tobi's voice. Tobi's glance landed on Carmen, or at least she thought he was since his mask was facing her dead on.

"Hi, Carmen-chan!" he greeted excitedly, bounding over and tackle-glomping her.

"Hey, Tobi." Carmen smiled. She thought of her painting. All she had on it so far was a forest and lake background. There was a big empty blank in the middle of the painting where a person should be. This was because Carmen didn't know who she wanted to paint. Maybe she could paint Tobi. Yes, now that she thought of it, Tobi would be perfect!

"Hey, Tobi, will you come to my room for something?" Carmen asked, looking at him hopefully.

"Tobi will go with Carmen-chan! Tobi is a good boy!" Tobi yelled, jumping up. Carmen put her plate in the sink and started walking to her room. Tobi skipped beside her, and to Carmen's surprise he suddenly took her hand. Carmen felt a blush rise to her cheeks. She only knew Deidara and Tobi well of all the Akatsuki. The thing is, she had started to develop feelings for Tobi. She loved his happy-go-lucky personality and he always could cheer her up. Carmen squeezed his hand slightly, still blushing heavily.

"Tobi thinks Carmen-chan is pretty when she blushes!" Tobi said happily, and Carmen's cheeks flushed deeper.

They reached her room and Carmen let Tobi inside where she instructed him to sit on a stool by her easel. Carmen stood in front of the canvas and directed the position Tobi sat in.

"Tobi is a good boy! Why is Tobi sitting like this?"

Carmen smiled, her eyes sparkling.

"Hold very still, Tobi. I'm going to paint a pretty picture of you." She said. She assumed that after she had painted most of his coat he would get bored and start fidgeting but he held perfectly still. She didn't realize that behind the mask, Tobi was gazing at her beauty. She looked so adorable when she painted, her forehead wrinkled in concentration, her big brown eyes darting back and forth from him to the canvas, and the way she sat close to her painting so that she could get the details absolutely perfect.

"Tobi…" Carmen asked hesitantly, her voice quiet and nervous.

"Tobi is a good boy!" Tobi replied, nodding. He quickly went still again while Carmen made small, careful red brushstrokes on the clouds on the Akatsuki coat.

"I want to paint…your face." She said, closing her eyes. "Without the mask." Tobi shifted in his stool slightly. Carmen immediately became flustered.

"Oh! Um, that's okay, Tobi. You don't have to if you don't want to! It was just an idea." Carmen said, waving her arms a little bit. Her face flushed cutely again.

"Tobi will show Carmen-chan his face." Came a soft whisper. Carmen looked up at Tobi in surprise as Tobi lifted his hands and slowly removed his mask. Carmen felt her heart stop in her chest. Tobi. He was gorgeous! Messy spiked black hair, creamy pale skin, and one big red eye while the other was closed.

"Carmen-chan doesn't like?" Tobi asked, looking down sadly.

"No, no, Tobi." Carmen grinned. "Sit still please. You're a wonderful picture!" Tobi looked back up at her. He smiled shyly as Carmen carefully began painting his lovely features. She took more time than she really needed, secretly wanting to keep looking at Tobi's face.

Finally, she set down her paintbrush and stepped away from the canvas. She couldn't help but marvel at it. Not so much the brilliant workmanship, but instead at Tobi's face. His painted face stared up at her with his beautiful, soft red eye. There was a certain look in his eye. It was almost loving, Carmen thought. She hadn't realized that Tobi had walked up behind her. He slipped his arms around her slender waist in a hug as he looked over her shoulder at the amazing work of art. Carmen's face heated up again as she felt his warm breath on her ear.

"Is Tobi a good boy?" he whispered to her. Carmen was shocked by his sudden change. He seemed more quiet and…dare she think it? Seductive!

"Yes," she said back in a feathery voice, her heart beating wildly in her chest. "Tobi is a very good boy."

"Tobi wants to be a bad boy." Came Tobi's voice, now hoarse and serious (Me: okay, shut up, I know its really unoriginal but whatever). Carmen felt her heart jump into her throat as she slowly turned around and looked at him. He was smirking instead of smiling for once, and there was a lustful look in his eye that nearly made her mouth water.

He leaned in and kissed her lips gently, though the kiss turned very passionate after a while. Actually, Tobi was feeling very lustful towards Carmen. He didn't know how to kiss very well, but he knew what he craved to feel. He craved to know what she tasted like. He slowly, hesitantly slid his tongue into her mouth and she moaned, tangling her hands in his boyish hair. She had been waiting for this for months now, and could hardly believe it was finally happening. She rubbed her tongue against his and felt him rubbing her thigh. This felt so right, she couldn't even explain it. She never wanted this kiss to end. But, eventually they had to come up for air, and Tobi started licking and biting at her neck. Carmen started to squirm, wanting nothing more than having him all to herself. She slipped Tobi's Akatsuki coat off his shoulders and it fell to the ground. Her cold hands went up his shirt and around his waist, fingering his toned back. She could tell that Tobi was getting very excited, and not his usual kind of excitement. This kind of excitement was different. The kind you get when you want a piece of somebody all to yourself. It was perfectly understandable, because Carmen was feeling the exact same way towards him.

Tobi started to back her up until she hit the bed, but he didn't stop until she was laying on her back, very vulnerable yet she never felt safer. It was like being in Tobi's arms was all she needed to do to stay away from harm. He leaned in to kiss her again and Carmen pushed her tongue into his mouth, running her tongue along his teeth and the roof of his mouth while he made little moaning sounds, indicating how much he liked it. Carmen had always thought that kissing Tobi would be awkward, because of his child-like innocence. But Tobi seemed somehow different. As if he was finally being serious for once in his life.

"Tobi loves Carmen." He said when she pulled back to breathe for a second. It was the first time Tobi had said her name without the formal ending. Carmen placed one hand behind his head while the other was still snaked around his muscled back and torso. She pulled his lips to meet hers and when she was only millimeters away from kissing him again, she whispered, "I love you, too, Tobi. I always have." And their lips locked together as if they were glued.

"Tobi wants to be with Carmen forever." Tobi continued as he rolled so that he was on top of her. She held him closer and answered, "Forever and ever." And that was all that needed to be said to make it so.
